In your bushes, watching you undress
Well I got The Silver Screwdriver E-NI MKII and Im excited about it :)
and with the discount it was a good price
and purchased from USA!

Order #319452

Judging by your collection, I would particularly be interested in your thoughts.

The MKII is considerably more expensive (wayyy) than some of the prestige units you already own, so I wonder how you'll feel after you get it.

I have to admit, the flashy packaging and new finish ARE tempting. But at about $150 USD I can't see it comparing favorably to what I already own. I hope I'm wrong... I'll wait to see what you say. I might add another to the collection just for giggles.

But for now, the new BB tester is on the way....

I'm from Massachusetts, USA...my list of possible mods was as follows:

1. Screwdriver

or

2. Silver Bullet

or

3. Prodigy

or

4. T1

all of the above were/are in short demand and I scoured the threads for suppliers...after about a month of searching over reviews I thought, with the 15% off from TW(UK), I'd give the Screwdriver(MKII) a try.

Really, I'm simply looking for a quality smoke with better battery life than the convention. I do own the 901, 801, m401(dragon), 510, have the PS USB PT on the way but I'm hoping the SD MKII will be the portable solution to rule them all. Though, the price is high, I'm willing to dive in for the quality of a good device and this one was 10 months in the design phase so I figure it's gonna be good.

Thanks for the comments and keep 'em coming.

If you are just looking for battery life, the chuck is the way to go, right? The damn battery lasts for 2 days, minimum.

The Chuck is a battery tube... like all the rest of our battery tubes. Their battery life is no greater. It's just a holder, nothing more.

Hey Bandit, not that much

Each Qty Total
The Silver Screwdriver E-NI-MKII $159.99 1 $159.99

promotion code discount: 15.00%
nett: $135.99
postage and package (USA) $6.99
Total: $142.98

Well, what I mean is that the Silver Bullet, Protege, and Chucks are all less expensive. And the Prodigy, GG-T, GG-Slim and some other mods are right about the same price... all of which give you a LOT more. So since you own these, I'm hoping to hear how you think they compare given their similar prices.

:

Errr.... Aren't they all just battery tubes? It's not like the SD has an atomizer welded on the end...

I just meant that the batteries that fit in the chuck are big enough to last for 2 days. the 18650's are big batteries.

the new SD isnt for those who want the longest lasting battery and who dont care about size.. its isnt for those who want higher volts..

there is nothing extreme about it.. except its extremely pretty and extremely shiny... and extremely nice to hold and use.. and it should.. just like the original "simply" work..

the original was the first of its kind.. it was the device that started the whole "mod" scene rolling.. when the original first came out there was no such word as "mod".. and no similar devices available.. it does seem to have change the e smoking world.. it could be said to have a reasonably good pedigree..

Much like any other manufactured item, a premium can usually be associated to pedigree, I concur. Otherwise, Rolex wouldn't sell for what they do ;)

Exactly, that's what I said "like all the rest of our battery tubes".

I am using a 18650 in my SB right now vaping away on my Red Hots  And my SB will run just as long as the Chuck because of this.

Most important for me is switch durability. It would be more than frustrating while on the road with your large battery PV and have the switch go out.

I have an original screwdriver that I've had for a couple of months. I bought a couple of prodigies after that. I read a post while I was waiting for my prodigy in which a woman said she was going to sell her screwdriver because she loved her prodigy so much more. The prodigy has become my main vaping device, but I have no desire to get rid of my screwdriver. I still think it's the coolest looking PV I own, and I'm still amazed how long those little cheap battereries last. I'm still using the original batteries that came with it.
