Thank you so much burnie71
How r you?

Very well Jim, considering my age! I am still active in sport I play competition lawn Bowls twice weekly so my mind is still in top condition though the body grows weary faster now .
It has been well over two years now that I stopped smoking, I started off as most do with Ego type vaping and at times the temptation to have the odd killer stick was there but resisted.
Then a smart engineer in Greece produced the D.I.D and this combined with a Provari and later Poldiac completely changed everything for me with the extra volume of vapour providing satisfaction, have never smoked again or tempted to do so since e-cigs, and its guys like your self providing top quality products that I have to thank for assisting me to break a 53 year old habit that started when I was 18.
Would like to add that my Cardiologist tells me I am above average for my age everything is working good, was a much different report when I was a smoker! now for the Ostio.
Thanks Jim, sorry for the long rant but I really thought I should give credit when credit due....burnie71

G'day Animus, just recently I made a purchase from the UK and GST (same as VAT)was added I inquired as to why as I am in Australia and was told that it is law to do so. I was not happy with this reply and looked it up and it seems that if a company does not comply it can be open to large fines on audit, seems strange being a tax collected by Aust govn't in your case US.
So I guess law is law, would be nice to see a reply from a legal brain.

That is kind of weird. I've bought plenty of stuff from Europe over the years and I have never had to pay VAT as a non-Euro citizen and have been exempt. As far as I know, VAT is collected by the host country, the US in my case has nothing to do with that tax.

anyways, thanks for the replies everyone.

Maybe this explains it:

You have two options according to the Greek law, either we both pay for vat or we must do a commercial export, in that case you will have to pay the amount that your customs will decide + local taxes and this amount is usually a lot higher, plus there is a lot more administrative work to be done in this case.

MMVapors however is looking into ways to not have customers outside of Europe pay VAT in the future. We will keep you posted.

I am sure if MMVapors can find a way to eliminate the VAT for US customers and others it will increase sales greatly. It would put the products more in the price range that many can afford to pay. The quality and design of products, service and staff of MMVapors is the best in the industry world wide. A better price would be the icing on the cake.
I have had a lot of people check out my Poldiacs and they are impressed with them. I think a lower cost would help others decide to get their own.
