Once you reach a certain number of posts or topics I can't remember, you can only answer existing ones, not start new ones.
So no, you didn't do anything wrong, and if you don't know where to post something, well I just used to shove it into general vaping, and if it needed to be moved, a mod would move it, etc.

the only thing I would add is if what you have is working for you don't get in a big rush to try something new give your self some time to figure out what you like and don't like and do alot of research when you have narrowed it down some come on here and go to the search and type in what you are interested in good chance someone on here has used it so you get real world advice
Thanks for all the info. I have been watching some videos for the diy coils, one thing I am not sure about is, do you have to use certain mods for the diy coils or any mod can use them? Are there any really good correct videos out there that I should watch if I want to try making one?
Your only consideration for mods in regards to coils, diy or premade, is that they are able to fire the type of wire used in the coil, and that they support the resistance of the coil. These days its less of an issue on regulated (non-mech) mods as they nearly all support the most common wires used in both Variable Wattage Mode and Temp Control Mode, and unless youre building very very low, most mods will support a wide resistance reading/firing band.
