Mod getting hot?????

I have a original EA mod. My bottom pinky button and the whole mod gets super hot. Whether it be a rba or a Kanger Aerotank. It has never done this before. I love this mod to death and really don't want it gone. Yes these are RBA are sub-ohm but they work fine on my hades clone. But the thing that confuses me is the Aerotank even making the mod super hot. Do I need to buy new parts or clean some stuff?? My batteries work fine. I use them in my VTR everyday. This even happen to my P+ 14500 when I placed my Evod glass tank on it. The P+ got hot as well. Any help or tips will help. Thank you.

You need to ohm those attys out. One thing to remember is if the atty resistance gets lower than the resistance of the mod the mod will get hot. Check for clean contacts, good insulators on mods, no stray wire chips an carosion. Again start ohming stuff out.

Don't forget to clean all threads, and lube them with NOAlox or similar conductive thread grease.
