You already have your answer about the voltage, I would suggest you learn about ohms law - even though you have a regulated mod it's good to know why your device functions the way it does.

Part of the reason for using such a powerful APV is so you can build medium to higher resistances and have enough power to fire them adequately so they heat fast enough. I don't really see the point of building at 0.11 ohms and putting on a regulated mod.

Assuming that is the Vamped "most powerful 40 amp battery on the market" it's actually a 20 amp continuous battery.

I hate this BS, it's 40 pulse, 20 continuous.

Is it safe for your Sig 150w?

Well seeing as Sigelei themselves suggest using a 30 amp continuous battery, you might be better off getting some VTC4's from rtdvapor or something.

+1 on InTheShade's advise to pick up some 30A batteries. You also need to marry them for life.

If you are new to rebuildables I highly recommend you spend some time with Baditude (one of our resident battery experts) and visit his blogs. Baditudes Blogs. The blogs regarding batteries, Ohm's Law and rebuildables are listed below:

BATTERIES

Battery Basics for Mods: IMR or Protected ICR?
* Another essential read to understand which batteries are safe to use in mechanical and regulated mods. Includes a frequently updated list of recommended safe-chemistry, high-drain batteries with their specifications.

Purple Efest Batteries not as Advertised
* A cautionary blog that reveals that the purple Efest batteries may not have the specifications advertised. Also includes a commentary on "continuous discharge ratings" vs "pulse discharge ratings" of battery specs.

OHM'S LAW

Ohm's Law for Dummies (Vapers)
* My attempt at explaining Ohm's Law in layman terms and how it relates to vaping.

Explain it to the Dumb Noob: Ohm's Law Calculations
* As simple as it is to use, some people have a tough time grasping the concept. Warning: Includes graphic photos of mod explosions.

REBUILDABLES

Information Resources for Your First RBA
* An essential read and reference guide for someone new to rebuilding coils. Includes a multitude of useful links on battery safety, mod safety, coil meters, coil building, and the differences in the three types of RBA's.

BATTERIES - WHERE TO BUY

Only buy batteries from a reputable supplier (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US.

* RTD Vapor
* Illumination Supply
* Lighthound
* Orbtronics

Don't take all of this the wrong way. We just want you to enjoy the wonderful world of vaping in safety. There's a lot of hype and misinformation out there.

Whenever you see a battery rated as high amps, check to see if they are talking about pulse or continuous. The continuous rating is what you want to judge a battery by, not the pulse rating.

So how do i fix it ? Make a lower build?

There is nothing wrong with your gear, it's your knowledge that needs some work on. You want to raise your ohms, not lower, likely if lowered any further, will get the "check Atomizer" or "lo Ohm" error code. Most of these boxes work best with builds between 0.40-0.80 ohms. Outside that target window, they'll still function properly, but will get high voltage drops, and non optimum purrformance.

Vape long and Prosper.!!!!

You don't need to fix anything. As long as your setup has a resistance that the device can operate at, which in this case is anything over 0.10 ohms, power (watts) is set by you on the Sigelei.

I agree with dice57 that increasing your build resistance a bit is likely to give you better performance. It all works together with wire gauge and air flow in your atty.

At 150 watts it's going to be drawing almost 30A from each battery. Good advice above from InTheShade.
