Modders Challenge: No filler Cartridge Mod Execution

Maybe this has been done before, but perhaps not in the manner I am going to try to describe.

There are 2 ways I have thought of and both are similar in execution. The first allows for 1 juice reservoir and the other, multiple(2, 3, or 4). Neither have cart filler material.

The picture I am attaching is a 4 reservoir build but the same idea could be implemented with 1 to 4 reservoirs. This enhances the meaning of "Pen Style" mod.

It was brought up that the flavors would not "mix" well. I am curious if devoting a section for nonflavored juice to help "Rinse" the atomizer between flavors would help with that issue?

Someone messaged me on another forum and said that as far as mixing flavors goes one could bypass the "rinse" with unflavored and instead have 4 flavors that mix well together. Peanut Butter & Grape for example.

Like I said above if 4 is not possible 2 or 3 might be more feasible. Also remember that the first step would be a single. After that one could try making 2 compartments so forth and so on. Even one compartment is an improvement. The container and delivery have many benefits. No filler = more space, less frequent refills, easier refilling. The slide button delivery method allows one to add that extra shot of fresh juice at the exact moment you start detecting weaker vapor being produced and without having to take out the cartridge to drip.

I would really like to do this mod but my life is extremely busy at the moment competing with programmers from other countries who don't mind doing it for just above minimum wage.


Can anyone post some brainstorming ideas on how to get the cart modded to accomplish what I have thought of?

Have you seen the E-Dobbit? Made for "drip-less dripping" not as a cartridge or cartridge filler. But it might give some delivery ideas.


If you do dripping, two small E-Dobbits back-to-back (end-to-end?) provide 2 flavors.
4 of them, spaced apart a little, gives 4 flavors.

You could do either of these with some E-Dobbits and tape.

I found a video review of the E-Dobbit. But I am having troubles finding the forum post where it was built/explained.

I have been searching madly for something to use as a valve. I have an idea of what it looks like in my head but can't find anything online. What I am thinking of is used in sports drink lids. When you squeeze the bottle liquid comes out. The valve in those is rubber like and looks very similar to a fast food drink cup lids straw hole. When pressure is applied it opens up and stays closed the rest of the time.


Ok hunting around I think I have an idea I could try. This is for a single type (to start).

Need a pixie stick for the tube. Then I need to hunt around for thin rubber. I imagine gluing the thin rubber to one end of the pixie stick straw. Then take a small needle and poke a hole. The test will be to add water and see if it drains or not. I bet it doesn't. Then second test can be done by blowing on the open end. This will show me how much liquid gets released.


Still need an idea (hopefully common household item) of a material to use for the rubber. Need a thin sheet type of rubber.

If this works I need to find a way to achieve the tube depression when it is in the e-cig. Like the Pen idea above.

I've played around with the idea. Keeping it simple and getting rid of clutter is the best solution. you actually suggested the answer and have it written in the pic. However, you have to compromise for it to work.

Can anyone provide me dimensions for a valve that would fit inside a 901?

Actually for the container I need dimensions for the length and diameter if at all possible. I have no measuring tools.

Find it in your local supermarket, under squeezy ketchup.

Simple but elegant. Well worth trying these; though a smaller size of same thing might be best.

A cheap source of small valves: disposable refillable gas lighters (the refill valve).

I have no idea how much it would cost but I can't think of any commonly used item I could buy that would have something like what I need. I could make it myself - using think silicone or rubber and poking a hole in it... I am going to try a few different things.

But if the company I linked above can make something sure fire and specific that would definitely be best. I think this company provides large order quantities. per piece the cost would be almost nothing but I am sure it would probably be a minimum order especially for custom made valves.
