The classifieds section should only be for someone selling stuff the don't want or don't like. Like you have juice that you don't like, you bought a 901 and prefer the 510 so you are selling the 901, you made several mods and improved the design so you are selling the older ones, but NOT for someone buying in bulk or modders making 10 or more of the same mod just to sell them, that should be in the suppliers section. JMHO :p

I have some boxes I may sell at some point because I keep improving what I am doing, I already have 6 different mods, so all are not getting used, but I'm not making them to sell, I am making them for me, and at some point I will sell the ones I am not going to use, that IMO is what the classified section is there for. Again this is JMHO. :)

I PM'd the mod who commented in that thread.
No response.

When it goes so far as to call it 'SPAM' to include info in forum posts that suggests the reader read about, maybe build or possibly connect with one of you and 'buy'-
and then allow bulk kits on the classifieds....

hmmm
seems that we 'want' noobs to keep buying the latest 'e-cig' looking p/v or a commercial 'mod' are believe those are their only options.

30 years of smoking...
Vaporized by my ScrewDriver!
and awaiting the arrival of two CLV's....

Not SPAM to sugest to read about or to help someone build one, you are not selling anything, just helping.

That is selling and should be in the suppliers section IMO

Should not be allowed IMO

Not at all. We want to help them to build there own mods, that's why we answer all there questions and direct them in the right direction. There are some who can't and need to purchase it from someone, but it really needs to be someone in the suppliers section. IMHO

I sold 9 box mods and was told to register as a supplier. I dont really want a business, I was just having fun making the mods. I would have to sells hundreds to get back what I have into vaping. Who has the time for that?

I really dont think 9 in 6 weeks time should make me a supplier.

I don't think 3 / week should be too much to sell in the classifieds. Just my opinion.

you think it may be possible that some people are leary of spending the money on the products that suppliers offer, because of the investment, and therefore would like to try something hand made for ALOT cheaper, just to see if they want something like that. Which leads to them buying a mass produced, high quality Mod of their choice?

How is this hurting the suppliers. I have sold some items that I have made. Have hardly made a profit, and when they wanted to step up to a Manufactured Mod, I was more than happy to assist them in deciding what they would like best..

Alot of suppliers are going to be selling even less in my opinion, because buyers cant sample their product before taking the plunge into buying a high dollar tube that holds batteries...

Think what you will, but that is my opinion..\ I'm not gonna argue with someone who thinks I am wrong, and they can have their opinion too. But let others make their opinon for themselves, rather than try to cram yours down their throat, like I see so much of on this forum..
This is not intended to single anyone out. I am just telling you what I think..

Oh and it does seem that as long as it is a product that is manufactured in China for Suppliers, they have no problem letting them sell in the classifieds..
Who exactly is trying to make money here?? Just sayin!!

Just noticed the same Moderator that is telling everyone that they cannot have BULK or LOT sales is doing just that..
They must have a different set of rules!!
Im not really trying to start anyhting here, but it seems as though they are picking and choosing who they want to be able to sell in the classifieds.

bottom line, this forum has rules. The people running the forum make and enforce them. Things are run tightly here. If it's a bother, there are a lot of other forums.

I can remember when I was a teenager and my parents went ballistic when a girl would stay overnight. There was a brief short argument where I made some valid points, and in the end it didn't matter because it was their house. "This isn't a flophouse" was the final decision. I stopped bringing girls home.

Maybe a separate classified section just for the part-time modders would be doable. :)

How would you distinguish between a part time modder and manufacturers like the adaptever, GG, prodigy, etc?

It's trying to cut a very fine line. Not sure it can be done without a lot of drama springing up.

I bought a mod from the FS section, because I can't do it myself. The person I bought from was a respected member, therefore I trusted him. It's a great box mod and I am using it right now..thanks! My previous box mod was also bought in the FS section and the lady who made it also did a good job.
I felt safe, because it was a member to member transaction.
But the suppliers forum is too fly by night for me. Some of those people don't post on the main forum , so how can you tell what they are like?
