"Components take up space; batteries, the chip, screen, buttons, atomizer connection, MicroUSB charging boards and wiring can be laid out to maximize efficient use of space in an attempt to get the best performance and battery life, in a package as small as possible."

huh?

are you saying that the things you put into the enclosure take up space in that enclosure? also how would the layout effect battery life?

Not at all. I'm saying pre planning the layout of the mod to maximize use of space so that you can get the most battery in the smallest space.

It's hard to word it right I guess. But say for a really small enclosure with a less than ideal layout offers only enough room for a 1000 mAh battery. Moving things around to make better use of limited space may afford you more mAh in the form of a larger battery.

Optimizing the available space inside the mod enclosure is definitely tricky if you want a small box. I'm going to try putting 2 (perhaps even 3) of these in my DNA20 mod (parallel). I think they can all fit quite nicely into a 9V battery box (madvapes). Having multiple thin batteries to shift around definitely gives you more flexibility than one large lipo cell.
