yup there is both a top fed and bottom fed version
Yeah, I don't know of many/any tubular mech mods that have a collapsing safety spring. In my experience, the REO is the exception. That said, when given the gift of a safety spring, one should think long and hard about not taking advantage of it. One way to do that is to think back on "doh" moments. D'ya (the general "ya", not directed) have many of those? How many springs have you collapsed? Do you drink and vape and have "doh" moments? ETC.
All my tubes, mechs and vv/vw, came with a hotspring. I collapsed the provari one due to my use of magnets
The mkb-ts was from that thread were people were dropping the spring for performance
Many mechs have a spring, I don't know that it's a hot spring. None of mine collapsed when I hard shorted on them. (Natural, Smoktech Telescope)
i recall a post, well before i landed in Reoville, that enumerated tube mods that actually had hotsprings. all i remember is that there were very few chinese mods in that thread.
out of idle curiosity, i went to Provape, just to see if they offered replacement springs. i didn't see any.
what i did see, however, is they are apparently soon releasing a "ZOMBIE EDITION" Provari...
in a manner that they undoubtedly did not intend, i take that "zombie" as the beginning of the end

I know people started to use the MKB-TS without spring due to it collapsing and the replacements (it uses a large, cylindrical one that threads at the bottom) were hard to find
Then they notice the performance improvements and so it went
weird. still can't find it under accessories. just your link. no matter, tho.

It's on the second page of the provari order page itself, after the device they list accessories for the specific model you selected, spring is there on second page
Also, a button and some wires, yes? And a bit of a squeamish amp limit to go with, no?
Yes - but it's great for pulsing coils on! Which is about all it gets used for these days.
