I think most of the expensive pondering is done by noobies wondering if an item will really be worth it. Let's face it, when we smoked, we had a brand and we knew what we were getting. A pack of Marlboro Menthols is a pack of Marlboro Menthols. It was easy to spend the money on it. But then you enter this world of vaping and probably get sucked in by Blu's or other gas station brands until you realize 1 ecig doesn't = a pack and you need to find a more economical way. Then you stumble on to ECF and people are talking about spending $200 to $300 on this thing called a mod and then more on these atomizers things and you think "Whoa! Are they nuts?" Like anything else, it takes a while for you to realize you can spend any amount you want and still get a great vape.

Well stated... at the end of the day, it is about satisfaction and finding "that thing" that keep us from the analogs.
