I set my signature when I first joined ECF last year, and haven't thought much about it since then, apart from updating the amount that I've spent (I spent a TON on cig-alikes those first couple of months). I never even though about the cost of cigs again, until yesterday. After my husband stopped vaping, eventually he went back to smoking and ended up smoking the kind I used to smoke, instead of what he used to smoke. When I quit, my cigs were on special a LOT (2 packs for $7.01 usually), so I wasn't spending a lot of money on smoking. I finally asked him how much they were, and it turns out they're only on special sometimes, now, and have been that way for a long time.

So I think I'm going to update my signature to reflect current cigarette prices. Would that be "cheating" lol? I don't think so, because if I wasn't vaping, that's how much I would be spending on smoking.

We are 5 minutes from casinos with smoke shops that have pretty low prices. I stopped buying cartons in December when we bought new starter kits. I'm sure they went up after the 1st of the year. But I based my sig banner on what we were spending. IF I keep spending on vaping gear, I'm going to cheat and redo it with higher prices.

I started when it was .50 in a vending machine and 2.50 a carton. I remember the wife saying we were going to quit when it got to 5.00 a carton, lol
