Thanks all. I think I am going to just save up and get an LP Reo Grand, probably in the silver vein. But, just curious, does anyone own one with a velocity rda, or have a size comparison between the Reo and another mod?

I'd say let Rob help you like he offered above or get your account verified on here by paypal or a similar method and go to the classifieds. I see Reo's all the time in there in good condition for a good price. I saw a hammertone Reo Grand LP for $140. Reo's are worth it. I use a couple devices in my daily rotation when I get crazy and vape flavors, but in my Reo it's strictly unflavored.
Sure you can get a cheaper bottomfeeder but you get what you pay for.

That is perfect. I was thinking about a mini because I was worried the Grand would be too big, but it's super small too!!! That's like the size of my SMPL. Haha. That is fantastic. Now I have to get one. The question is... What color? Haha!
I thought I might want a mini too, but I went with the Grand. When I had it in my hand, I couldn't believe how small the Grand was. I am so glad I didn't get the mini, I think it would be too small actually!
And I wouldn't stress color choice too much. Pick out a few you like and just randomly order one of them. You'll eventually have all your choices
A lot of people think they're bigger than they are. I don't have the TRA Looking one anymore, but just to show size wise.
Hammer tone or tumbled raw is the most durable finish... though I've had black anodized that held up well as well for years.
I wouldn't worry too much about it though.. Most buy many reos eventually. Hehe

Any suggestions for RDA's? I was considering the Velocity but I can't bring myself to spend $161 on the Reo then another $125 on the RDA.
Any of the rebuildables on the Reosmods site will work (except.....get the LP RM2 instead of the regular one if you get an LP REO) and they are reasonably priced. Others will chime in with their preferences, but I really like the RM2. It will depend on what you like (cloud chasing, more flavor, lung hits, mouth-to-lung hits, large chamber, small chamber, single coil, dual coil....)
Edit: what's that atty in your avatar? Is it bottom fed? I see a hole in the center under the coil....just wondering if it goes all the way through. Nice coil, by the way.

That is the RBA section in my Subtank Plus. And I like Direct lung hits, and I love to blow a huge cloud, but flavor is king to me. I can chuck huge clouds all day long but it isn't satisfying if it doesn't taste good.
