Mono Propylene Glycol or Di-Propylene Glycol?

I was doing a search on Amazon.co.uk for Propylene Glycol and it turned up Mono Propylene Glycol and Di-Propylene Glycol.
Didn't know there was two different varieties.
Which should we be using or doesn't it matter?

Took a quick peek on Amazon.UK and it looked like some of the ads specifically mention e-cig usage for the mono-, but not for the di- .
I would think to either buy PG from a source that specializes in e-cig DIY supplies or maybe someone will chime in who knows what they are talking about.....

I was thinking about trying some coffee and tobacco steeps so wanted PG in larger quantity than I normally buy just for juicemaking. That's why I was on Amazon.

Understood .... I didn't notice until now that you are in the UK.... I would imagine you are best ordering locally or you would get killed with shipping "across the pond"......

Believe it or not they can actually both be used there almost identical. The only difference is Di-Propylene Glycol has a slight sweetness to it (But not as sweet as VG) and is more commonly used in smog machines where a more perfumy smell is desired in the smog. Propylene is more of a taste netural fluid and is more commonly used in e-liquid.
