i try .... i realy try to limit myself to less than 100$ a month on vape stuff !

usually i buy about 50 - 60 $ worth of e juice a month mabey more so i am under budget most of the time :vapor: this leaves money for wick and wire if i need it.... sometimes i buy a 5 pack of protank coils also. i go through about 30ml a week so 60$ is about right .

but this month i wanted some new gear LOL so i went way over budget and now my wife is all mad, her madness quickly dissipated however when i aasked how much she spent on smokes this month LOL !!!! then all of a sudden she was fine with it !

but here goes ... this month i bought

-smoktech magneto kidney puncher
-smok dripper rda kidney puncher

65.99$

-3 12ml bottles of imperial hooka e juice ..... blaaaah its crap juice but i have to smoke something wile waiting for vape mail. local shop

15$

-fogger v3 kidneypuncher
-aw 18650 200mah kidneypuncher

55.85$

-halo tribeca 30ml

23.38$

-heathers heavanly vapes heavanly tobaco

17$

tottal = 177.22$ :blink:..............................:2c:...:glare:

dang ! almost double what my limit is suposed to be ! at least i didnt spend 230$ on smokes !...... eyes wife hiding in corner.......

My budget comes in two parts.

For me....I use unflavored juice, T2s and Evods. My juice (6 mil per day) runs less than $10 per month. My coils (only 2 per month because unflavored won't gunk them up) less than $10 per month. So I can get by at less than $20 per month. I normally throw in a new tank, or battery, so I spend $40 or so..

For my wife...she uses a tobacco flavor that cost $13 per 30 mil...so at 5 mil per day she spends about $65 per month. Throw in her coils at 5-6 per month (that tobacco juice really gunks the coils), so $10, and a battery or tank and she spends $90-100 or so.

I always knew that woman would cost me...after 38 years I now have the proof.

i think after this spending spree i may go DIY on e juice !

gave it some srs thought and i know i can get a good deal on some pre made organic nic base, 100ml 18mg and then all i need to do is buy the flavoring need to make a few good tobacco vapes and i would bee all set each month

i bough bulk 2mm silica around 30ft, and a huge bag of organic cotton balls, and i have 100ft of 28g kanthal so i am set on coils for a long long time, i use rebuildables 95% of the time because they can be perfectly tailored to the way i want them and tend to give great vapor and flavor ! the upside to rebuildable attys is the cost ! 100ft of kanthal and 30ft of silica and a bag off cotton balls cost around 30$ and its enough suplies to last mabey 2 years !

i am trying to find a good quiality organic VG tobacco vape in an ry4 type flavor that i can order in bulk quantitys, this too will cut cost but so far all the top organic quality tobacco vapes only come in 30ml or 50ml sizes max........

if i cant find a quality ry4 tobacco vape that i can buy bulk i am going to have to resort to DIY e juice to save cash.

as of right now i am still not buying any rebuildable suplies but i am spending around 60-70$ a month on e juice !!!! i like halo tribeca @ 23$ to my door. but at 30ml a week thats almost 100$ a month just to vape halo e juice !!!!!!. i like HHV heavanly tobacco too and thats 17$ to my door for a 30ml bottle so its my go to for now coming in at 68$ a month. mount baker vapor is where i go when i am short on cash LOL there juice is mid grade good and cheap. its only 7.50 $ for a 30ml bottle !! and you always get a freebie ! so it comes to 30$ a month for 120ml of juice from MBV ! but the juice is only pretty good, not the best but better than average.

i am looking for halo or HHV or AVE or highbrow e liquid quality and flavor prefeably organic,.... at MBV prices or better ! i dont know if i am askig too much but thats my goal LOL and i think i may have to resort to buying in bulk at discount from one of those vendors if i can or going over to DIY e juice.

anyone here DIY and have an acurate account of the monthly cost of vaping there own e juice?

edit.... i love the idea of the sliding budget !!! i could say set aside 75$ a month for vape suplies.... but if i only spend 30 on mbv juice one month..... the next month i will have 120$ !!! i could go all out on the high end e juice and let them set and steep wile i puff away on the last of the MBV....thats a good way to stay in budget and still be able to treat yourself to high end e juice every other month.

I misjudged my usage, I have a good supply of juice to last me a few months.... so I try to spend 50/month, mainly protank heads, a bottle of juice in a new flavor, and now some cartos.... probably about time to look into getting a spare charger and a third batt and a case....
And a cabinet to store everything else, I have juice in 4 different locations right now....

With MBV you can get the 236ml of your favorite flavor, get it at double the normal nicotine strength you vape (so 36mg if you vape 18) with 5 flavor shots at max VG. Then add up to 236 of plain VG to it - you just got 472ml of 100% VG juice for about $47. If its a little weak, MBV also sell most of their flavorings separately at $5 for 15ml.

Yes, it's not as cheap as DIY, but at a little under 10 cents / ml it might help you stretch that budget while you figure it out.

When I was just starting, I kept myself to my cigarette budget each month. That bought me the flexibility to try some different steps in device and topper until I was satisfied I had a decent long term setup.

Then, about a year ago, having vaped for two, almost three months, I started to restrict myself to half of that monthly...

As a celebration for having spent all of 2013 without tobacco, I treated myself to a real step up. Sure, I blew 6 months worth of budget in three days, but I had been planning something like this for a while, and came in notably under budget since June to cover it.

I won't be buying anything in February, but March will be juice time again. My normal budget is 110 or less (got more than I usually order monthly for less than half of that most recently having finally discovered MBV) and that 110 has to cover juice, cartos, coil heads, etc.

I am hoping that my current oversupply of juice will last me through march. If I can skip Feb juice order, then in march I should be able to double it and really ramp up for DIY juice.

I don't really have a monthly budget anymore. At first I was thinking less than $30 per week the equivalent of a carton of smokes, but then I spent 150ish dollars on DIY stuff which should last me over a year. I'll prob pick up a pack of clearos (17.00) and a few packs of coils (7.00) before the end of this new year. If I manage to catch The Vapor Rooms Gingerbread on sale I might buy a few bottles of that. The TFA Gingerbread leaves something to be desired. If anyone happens to know which flavor company has a great gingerbread I'd love a tip.

None of those things are necessities (except the coils), more fun splurge type items.

i would say no more than $30 a month for me. i get new wicks and run kangers, and ill buy smaller bottles that i can mix up with other flavors according to my tastes at the moment. seems like a good way to go about it and maximize what you put into it. and hell, its way cheaper than smoking cigs will ever be.

I DIY so its about 10 dollars a month for that and I use buy a few packs of protank heads that will last me a few months. I have already accumulated so many different tanks and clearos so Im good there.

I do have a bank on my dresser that I put 5 dollars a week in in case I see something new I might like.

I am still figuring out my set up. So i have gone over since i started. This year I have decided 150 combined for me and the wife. So far this month so good. We had a ton of liquid so most of the budget has gone to equipment. i plan on getting stuff to start dyi each month. Once i have everything for that then i will give that a try. Together we would spend between 300-350 on smokes and since my insurance went up 150 a month cause i vape if i keep the budget at about 150 then i break even and dont go in the hole.

I don't really have a budget.. I won't order anything for months, and then go crazy stocking up on everything for 2 months in a row.

if I average out what my break even spreadsheet says I've spent, it's about $100 a month. yikes! adds up quick. but still less than smokes. and no time lost from work from being sick all the time.

Your Insurance went up because you vape? Also when you do consider DIY I reccomend this calculator eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator you have to download it but its totally safe. It makes it soooo easy and there is lots of youtube videos to show you how to use it. Saves me a lot each month.
