depending on the prices, quantity, and quality the diyer spent to get their supplies... $10 a month could equate to A LOT of liquid... my wife and I together, my wife a very heavy vaper, and me a vaper that my set up uses more liquid, but not a heavy vaper... our cost is about 10-20 a month combined...

it costs, including the bottle, less than $2 for a 10 ml bottle... less than $4 for a 30 ml bottle...

the upkeep is really simple, start to get low/run out order more...

Since I don't use nicotine any longer, and most of my juices are single flavor (which I buy in large bulk size),,,,,,,,and I buy my VG and PG in quantity,,,,,

I can make 50ml for about $2.23.

No budget. I order what I need when it seems like I'm running low on whatever it is. - That's not to say I don't appreciate and take advantage of a good deal or a sale now and then, but generally speaking, I don't pay much attention or put any sort of minimum or maximum amount of money towards vaping.

I do have a pretty good idea of what my costs are. I buy juice about every four months and last year it came out to about $40 a month. I kill a ~$10 atty about every 6 weeks (give or take - last year was 9 attys, but that 9th one is still working right now) so that's another ~$7.50 a month. I bought 4 18350s last June for $40 and I added a pair of 14500s to my rotation for $16 bucks so batts cost me ~$4.60 a month. --- My costs are about $52 per month. ---

This new year? Well, I anticipate only replacing one set of >2 year old 18350s. If I'm lucky with AVE's sales, I'll probably continue at about the same juice cost. And I don't expect much change in the number of attys I'll require, though I have thought I might try to use up some of my old stock of cartos and that might save a couple of attys this year. .... Now and then, I think I might buy a REO Grand to go along with my Mini and VVW. If I do that this year, it will add 12 bucks a month to my average (and yeah... that sort of puts the cost of quality mods in perspective doesn't it? 12 bucks a month for a year is enough to put a REO Grand in your hand).

My budget is $100 a month. These days I usually come in well under $50.

I have several 100 ft rolls of kanthal and a big box of rolled cotton. I use RBA/RBD for my attys so I rebuild rather than replace the heads.
I have 2 REO grands and a dozen batterys for them.
I DIY juice so less than $.07 per mL

Being this self sufficient was my plan for dealing with possible problems when FDA deeming hits but a huge side benefit is it allows me to save quite a bit of money.

If I wasn't a compulsive buyer my Budget would Rock.

There is nothing I need now or any time in the foreseeable future. Still, I find a way to spend from $50-$400 at any given time.

Right now I have enough flavorings to make anything I like to Vape and Nic to take me to my Grave.
Now have enough Mods and hardware to support 4-5 full time Vapers.

I am just so happy to be off of cigarettes, that a budget is the last thing on my mind at this point. I've spent a lot these past 2 weeks on vaping with no regrets.

I suppose down the road I will have to control my juice buying, but right now I am justifying the spending on finding the flavors/vendors that will help keep me off the sticks.

With MBV you can get the 236ml of your favorite flavor, get it at double the normal nicotine strength you vape (so 36mg if you vape 18) with 5 flavor shots at max VG. Then add up to 236 of plain VG to it - you just got 472ml of 100% VG juice for about $47. If its a little weak, MBV also sell most of their flavorings separately at $5 for 15ml.

Yes, it's not as cheap as DIY, but at a little under 10 cents / ml it might help you stretch that budget while you figure it out.

Great idea! I am going to remember this. I vape 18mg with 2 extra shots. It would be so easy to cut that in half. Other wise my budget runs 35$ a month. That seems to be about average as I have been reading.

I used to spend around $460 a month on tobacco. I smoked at least a carton of name brands a week, and I dipped Copenhagen at about 10 cans a week, and I smoked a cigar every evening.

I just try to stay under $400 a month, so far I have been successful :), excluding the month of December.

i try .... i realy try to limit myself to less than 100$ a month on vape stuff !

usually i buy about 50 - 60 $ worth of e juice a month mabey more so i am under budget most of the time :vapor: this leaves money for wick and wire if i need it.... sometimes i buy a 5 pack of protank coils also. i go through about 30ml a week so 60$ is about right .

but this month i wanted some new gear LOL so i went way over budget and now my wife is all mad, her madness quickly dissipated however when i aasked how much she spent on smokes this month LOL !!!! then all of a sudden she was fine with it !

but here goes ... this month i bought

-smoktech magneto kidney puncher
-smok dripper rda kidney puncher

65.99$

-3 12ml bottles of imperial hooka e juice ..... blaaaah its crap juice but i have to smoke something wile waiting for vape mail. local shop

15$

-fogger v3 kidneypuncher
-aw 18650 200mah kidneypuncher

55.85$

-halo tribeca 30ml

23.38$

-heathers heavanly vapes heavanly tobaco

17$

tottal = 177.22$ :blink:..............................:2c:...:glare:

dang ! almost double what my limit is suposed to be ! at least i didnt spend 230$ on smokes !...... eyes wife hiding in corner.......

Too funny! This month I went over myself! I ended up getting e-liquid from 2 companies, one new, one I use a lot....2 five packs of blank cartomizers for my carto tanks, and a new device...the Vivi Nova ASPIRE BDC pyrex one....looks great!

I wanted the iClear30b or iClear30s, but the online stores I use are sold out...so I can wait.

I used to spend about $150 a month on cigarettes.....so anything UNDER that is perfectly acceptable to me. I don't even mind spending the SAME amount on ecigs as I did on regular cigs....since I enjoy ecigs WAY more, and they are so much better for health than cigs.

I usually spend under my budget as well....maybe $30-50 a month

The wife and I have been Vaping about a year and a half now. I make my own juice for us, use clone Evods, MT3, CE 4s and changeable 14500 batteries in Trueman RS holders and have two Vamos with 4 18650 batteries and a Nitecore charger. I rebuild all our replaceable heads when needed. Juice costs about 6-7 cents per ml to make (we use about 30 ml per week combined, although my wife vapes much less than I.) and we have weaned ourselves down to 7 mg/ml nicotine. Don't need much stuff, have plenty of flavors and I usually buy those in bulk of 120 ml which makes about 500 ml of Juice. So most months I spend less than $15 now that I am stocked and equipped. Occasionally I have to replace the body on an Evod but they are only $2.25 for the clone and I get an extra head too!
That's the short version.

Great idea. I have been looking for something not as involved as DIY juice making (still new to Vaping). This idea appears to be just the thing to help me reduce costs.

As I seem to enjoy 50/50 pg/vg can I buy the max vg and cut with pg and come out with a 50/50 blend? Or is it more complicated then that??

I estimate I've spent about $40 monthly the last six months but that will probably go down. I make my juice and don't use much nic. Kanthal, SS mesh, cotton and a bit of silica is all I need to keep my RBAs and RDAs going. I have enough PVs to last me a few years and by then everything will probably be outdated anyway. All I really need for the next year is DIY stuff and whatever I decide I want (not need).

i have all my mods/rda/wick/wire/batteries set for a long time so now it's just juices (hopefully...but we know how that usually goes)

so now my budget is about $50 a month until i break even with my initial investment catches up to how much i would have spent on cigs

once i break even, i may buy myself a nice gift :)

Now I've gotten the GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) pretty much out of my system and have settled on the type PV I prefer, and the type "topper" I like, plus DIY my own juice, I average around $30 to $50 a month (depending on a few factors). SO is easy, too, and never got a case of GAS...so he's about the same. So for the TWO of us it's generally runs $60 to $100 max a month.

Wife and I until recently spent about $80/month on juice. We have pretty much settled down with our devices of choice and we re-build our attys - the cost of Khantal and silica/ceramic wicks is almost negligible. Recently started DIY so our monthly cost for juice is going to drop to about $10, maybe a bit less. Toss in the startup cost of DIY, the occasional battery, and a replacement tank now and then and I bet we will average about $20/month over the next year.
