I DIY so its about 10 dollars a month for that and I use buy a few packs of protank heads that will last me a few months. I have already accumulated so many different tanks and clearos so Im good there.

I do have a bank on my dresser that I put 5 dollars a week in in case I see something new I might like.

I do this as well. I usually put 10 to 20 in it. Funny thing though I never use that money for vape related stuff.

Gracious...I've smoked pipes for years and aside from buying the pipes, I've always found it to be a realitivly cheap hobby. How do you spend $140/mo? Maybe I was doing it wrong...
I liked collecting pipes, and I used them, and cleaned them, took them for walks....
A workable pipe is around $15.
A collectible.... $75 to $200
I was really ...... when someone broke in and stole my collection!

im in fl, and the ONLY tobacco I smoked, I got for $80 per month with a retail suggested price of $220.
it adds up.

I limit myself to around $18 per month. That's the remainder of whats left of my old cig budget.. The first 7 months of vaping I spent about $225 on gear, most of which was the first 3 months. Broke even after 2 months if I remember correctly and from then on out it was <$18.

It allows me to buy my juice for the month, 60ml for reserve and some other odds n' ends.

This is not a hobby for me. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy tinkering and whatnot, I just won't allow my wallet to open up for it, I have enough hobbies as it is.

there is no set budget for me and my wife, we are actually going to work towards a budgeting, but we agreed we wouldnt spend more than we did on smoking, which didnt hold up when we got our diy kit... 1 gal pg 1 gal vg 500 ml 100mg/ml nic lots of flavoring, bottles, syringes, etc... i think it was over 200 for the set up, but now we just need to maintain, replace/add flavorings, resupply nic, etc, however not sure how we are going to go about the pg and vg, got a great deal on the gallon size, will probably replace the gallon when it gets between half and 1/4, probably going to resupply on nic here though, need another 500 ml... probably going to get some more bottles, not that we exactly need em, but would rather have extra, then run out...

so the plan is to come up with a budget, that is not vape related, more us related... we can use it for what we want, between getting the diy kit, and rebuildable materials we are very set on lasting, though another thing here another thing there, my wife will probably add an ego from time to time, a new flavor, or a new tank, where me, i will probably add a new rba, a back up svd (maybe) and save for the next device... my budget will probably mostly relate to vaping, where hers will probably vary a lot

Er, I don't really have one  I don't make up a vaping budget because my goal is just to spend less than I did smoking (which didn't happen last year, but I only went over by $30 and it was my "get set-up" year). So, to do that, I have to average less than about $100 a month, which is usually pretty easy. Some months, if I have the extra money, I might spend $150, but then I'm usually stocked up on stuff for several months after that.

Basically a less formalized version of my budget. I spent my limit this month, but will spend about $20 to $50 for the next few months unless a super-cyborg-give-you-incredible-powers device comes along :D

thanks i have been lookig into that and had the same basic idea !! but i realy want a large quantity of QUALITY e juice something high end....lol i know its asking a lot and the vendors that sell higher end juice dont want it out in large quantiys. but yeh i could settle on 250ml of mbv ! as long as it a juice i love from them and of the 20 pluss juices i have tried from them i realy only like the vinellas, i dont know if i could vape 250ml of it, i know however i would vape 250ml of a quality ry4 so thats my delema !

i may just order from them and do just that, it would give me something allright to vape as an ADV but leave me enough savngs to order a few 30ml bottles of better e juice that i can vape when i want something special i guess. that would save a ton of money

i would say no more than $30 a month for me. i get new wicks and run kangers, and ill buy smaller bottles that i can mix up with other flavors according to my tastes at the moment. seems like a good way to go about it and maximize what you put into it. and hell, its way cheaper than smoking cigs will ever be.

wow ! how do u get by on 30 $ a month lol i would be rationing my e juice like it was the e cig apocalyps !!!

I am still figuring out my set up. So i have gone over since i started. This year I have decided 150 combined for me and the wife. So far this month so good. We had a ton of liquid so most of the budget has gone to equipment. i plan on getting stuff to start dyi each month. Once i have everything for that then i will give that a try. Together we would spend between 300-350 on smokes and since my insurance went up 150 a month cause i vape if i keep the budget at about 150 then i break even and dont go in the hole.

W>T>F i never heard of this ? i told my army doc at our preliminary health inspection that i switched to vaping and she was glad and told me to keep it up and not to go back to smoking or dipping ! my insurance is only 54$ a month for full tricare coverage !

i wonder ... would they up your payment if you said you use the patch or gum ? it has nic too you know why up it for vaping ? if your not smoking your not smoking ! it seems stupid to charge a penalty for quiting smoking !

I don't have a vape budget, I just buy what I need when I need it.

I buy juice from Mt Baker and buy cartos in bulk and mods/tanks from FT so my expenses are pretty low. I'd say my average is $50-$75 a month. Of course on any given month I might splurge and spend $200 or if i'm stocked up on supplies I might spend nothing.

it would seem the average vapor here spends around 60 to 100 $ a month on e juice and sutch... but the DIY ers and mixers spend as low as 10$ and upwards of 30$ a month, it would seem to offer a good 60 to 70% savings to switch over to DIY.

DIY wil end up costing less and less as you go on too because you will acumulate a large aray of flavorings and pg/vg and wind up not having to buy anything for a good wile after time goes on . so with DIY it seems the start up cost is high but the cost to maintain dropps gradualy over time making it far cheaper in the long run.

boy that's a tough question,,,I don't really have a budget, simply because it's so much less than I spent on smoking, that I don't really worry about it,,,,,

every 3 months or so, I buy flavorings,,,,usually about 40 bucks
every 3 months or so I buy VG,,,,,,,,about 15 bucks
every 12 months or so I buy a huge gallon bottle of PG,,,,,,22.00
every 6 months or so I buy about 4 boxes of heads for my Iclear 30,,,,,,
every once in a blue moon, I might try another delivery device,,,,,,,who knows the cost of that,,,,,sometimes I like it, mostly I don't
I do need another mod,,,,,so I expect to spend about 200 bucks on that and batteries and a charger,,,,,
and then new batteries about 2x a year will probably be 40 or 50 bucks,,,,,

IDK,,,,,,,,shrugs,,,,,,,,,not worried about it.

depending on the prices, quantity, and quality the diyer spent to get their supplies... $10 a month could equate to A LOT of liquid... my wife and I together, my wife a very heavy vaper, and me a vaper that my set up uses more liquid, but not a heavy vaper... our cost is about 10-20 a month combined...

it costs, including the bottle, less than $2 for a 10 ml bottle... less than $4 for a 30 ml bottle...

the upkeep is really simple, start to get low/run out order more...
