This morning I was using my BB as I always have done without any issues. Then all of a sudden as the thing was firing and then nothing, I tried playing with the switch I understand it can get a little out of wack from time to time and still nothing. I screwed off the top and noticed there was juice coming out of the top part. After drying it up I tried again, it fired a few times and then nothing. As I blew into the switch from the open screw end I noticed there was air coming out of the 510 connection, I thought these were suppose to be sealed. I know air will come out from the switch in case it needs to vent but from the 510 connection?

I did not really have any juice build up in the top of the connection. I use cartos and do not over fill, never had a problem before. Please advise what should be done, I do not think there should be air or juice getting in from the 510 connection. Thank you.

I am presently using 14650 batteries that are about 3 days old, I just started using this set up this week after receiving my BB bottom extension. I tried it with the original bottom with a few 14500 batteries that are a few weeks old. The same issue, as of now it seems to be hitting randomly. It will work and then all of a sudden it does not, then it may work again after sitting for an hour or so... got me scratching my head?

Ok, is there any way to make sure carbon has not built up in the switch where it makes contact to fire? Also, I've noticed that some of my mods make contact on atty's a bit differently. Some of them like the push the center post in the atty up a hair, and I have to wiggle it back down a hair to get it to fire on a diff device. Or, over tightening can sometimes cause this. If the switch is mechanical, and you have other batteries and atty's, I'm guessing you are going to get this puppy working again soon. Keep looking.

Sounds like the insulator is toasted. After it sets a little while it is firm(cold) after a few hits it heats up and grounds out, tripping the battery protection circuit. I will reply to the ticket you submitted with my address for repair.

My bad, I didn't know you were the man with these things lol. Not trying to overstep my place here.

These are high quality switches with gold plated contacts, I don't think that should be an issue :) The only way I could check would be to split one, I split one a long time ago to see how they function.

I thank you for your quick response and will have it in the mail come Monday.

A happy holiday weekend to you.
