I'm sure you guys are getting a bit tired of my frequent post asking possibly silly questions, but here's another.... kinda.

So I got my sigeli running, albeit still kinda nervous with my battery issue that'll be fixed next month, but anyways, I've noticed I reach for cigarettes more often if I'm not by myself doing nothing, afraid to break my zmax and the clearo on it. I've been contemplating a mechanical mod with the assumption that no wires or electronics equals nearly bulletproof. The one my local b&m showed me looked like a diesel truck of the e-cig world. Solid black metal body, literally caged in Chrome looking metal. It's also quite heavy. It feels like I could run it over with a semi and it would still work great. So is that something any of you guys (or gals) would use?

Also, I've come to the conclusion that my favorite hassle free delivery method is a very cheap knockoff of the protank. It uses the same coils, but made of cheap plastic, but doesn't leak at all (yet) but it's amazing. Are there any heavy duty versions of that?

Thanks for any input!

With mechanical s comes doing some homework as they lack the protection circuitry built into other mods. You need to be very good with your batteries. Owning a multimeter is pretty much required so you can check your batteries and not over discharge them.

I am assuming you are not building your own coils and are using stock replacements heads that are over 1 ohm. If you are going below 1 ohm that is a whole different level of homework that needs to be done on batteries to make sure your battery can take what you are dishing out without venting.

As for Mech mods. The K100 is a very nice little mech that is a relatively inexpensive starting place. I personally own one and find it a durable beast. My every day vape is a REO Grand which is a bottom feeder mech and will likely outlast me.

The reo Grand looked great.... But I'd probably burn billions of cartos learning how hard and when to squeeze.

No. I'm done rebuilding anything. That's why I stopped vaping last time. I quickly overwhelmed myself and said screw it.

I will stay away from any stacked battery mods.

As for mech mod safety; is it simply just charge batteries, test, and if it's Between 3.9v and 4.1 go ahead and use it?
