been vaping a few weeks now and origonally started just to not have to go outside and smoke but ended up turning into me trying to quit, for the most part im off cigarettes smoking about a pack a week just having trouble with having to smoke in the morning, i tried dripping this morning onto the first pv i baught ( cheap off brand 3 peace) and it helped allot but not enough, i normally like 18-24 mg juice was wondering if kicking it up to a 36mg with caffiene in it from vapor renew would be a good idea to help?

My first few mornings ( it's only been two weeks for me ), I suffered from the cigarette craving as well. I have been vaping 18mg on a consistent basis ( though planning on cutting down to 12 ). I do have a bottle of 36 mg that I will sometimes have a few drops of in the morning. At night, I make sure I have my 510 rdy to go with a charged battery and a bottle of juice on my nightstand. That way I'm able to vape seconds after opening my eyes. My craving for cigarettes in the morning went away after just a few days.

It's been 21 days without a cig for me, and here's what did the trick to get me off the morning and before bed cigs. (Didn't really think I ever would quit completely.) I took my regular cig and a comparable flavor, (menthol for me, 24 mg), outside in the garage, and smoked both side by side. I did it twice, once with wine in the evening, once the next day with my coffee. For the life of me, I could not tell the difference, until the end, when the cig started tasting something like an ashtray, and the e-cig tasted clean and somewhat sweet. Obviously better.

I smoked for 30 years, and that did it for me. There was no difference, other than the e-cig flavor won out in the end, and I just couldn't believe it until I absolutely, literally, proved it to myself. Now, that's what I think about when I get a rare craving, and I will vape the same flavor if I have to. Funny thing is, I don't have to, and this is way more fun, as there are so many great flavors to vape, and we only used to inhale one "favorite" before. Go figure. Give it a try; you may amaze yourself. I accidentally quit, without even trying. I was okay with one or two a day, but I don't even think about it now. Huh.

I agree with Chloe,..inclimate weather will surely help in the decision. Folks get bothered when they go out into the cold/rain, and I am happy inside vaping. Especially at bars,..(I vape lots,..constantly, when drinking),..people ask "why can SHE smoke in here?" It has enabled me to quit much easier,... I ENJOY the flavors,..and the WARMTH!

Hey, a fellow vaper from the Aurora area, nice to meet you! ^

When I was transitioning from regular cigarettes to vaping the thing for me was camel snus. I would pop one in during the morning time and have my usual vape and my cigarette craving would be gone! Within a week I was off cigarettes. You have to keep in mind that you are not only addicted to the nicotine but also the tobacco alkolids and other chemicals found in the processed and burned tobacco.

I bought an extra battery so I could leave my PV set up overnight. That made it easier to go to bed and meant if I got up in the middle of the night or just first thing in the morning, it would be right there waiting to be vaped/

Now I leave 2 different PVs set up overnight, one with its usual strong flavor and one with the gentler flavor. I use cartomizers so I don't have to mess with juices in the morning, don't get a mouth full of liquid etc.

Some peopl elike stronger nic in the morning and/or a stronger flavor or a tobacco + coffee like you mentioned. I like to take a LOT of drags in the morning so I use my normal nic.

i struggled with mornings too if it is any help. i just got my ego two weeks ago and am on 36 mg nic and i have found that if i can hold out for 5 min. once i wake up and just vape constantly in the morning the feeling passes, and now its almost gone. i have found that the times i have caved have sometimes been mental, like i am sure that if i vape it wont be strong enough so i conclude i should by cigs, then i regret it. try and let yourself vape for a bit before running out and getting cigs, and def. up your nic if you need to. that's what it is there for.

Noone has mentioned that the nic absorbtion from Vaping is less than with cigs. This is important with choosing the level of mg. I agree that a higher amount waiting for you is perhaps the best bet in the morning. But a lower mg amount for lesser cravings will help ween you down to rid you of the "need for nic".

I myself have been off cigs for about two weeks now and only find that I'm a bit lazier -- not getting up for the first smoke of the day. Instead I just vape for a bit and continue to lay around. I suppose I can live with that :)

well the ginseng was another add on after i already put the caffiene on there. not really sure bout that one, dont see it being to bad compared to a cigarette or all of the other things people put in there longs but im notta doctor. health isnt really a motivation for quitting for me anyway though its saving money and not having to go outside to smoke because i cant afford to keep buying cartons of cigarettes even though theyr cheap in colorado compared to what they were in washington. that and cigarettes are starting to taste nasty, didnt really want to quit in the first place but got sucked in:)
