Oh No Joan, I'm so sorry, I don't even know what to say. I was just telling Charlie and Patty that she was starting to eat last night. I thought for sure she had it licked. Well at least she was able to get up and spend a bit of time with you yesterday. Maybe that was her way of saying her goodbyes. I'm so sorry.

kids have been going through all the pics, there's alot of them so thanks for everyone paticipating in the contest this will be fun deciding

And... I just tried imageshack without any luck on my phone, I give up.
Just checked photobucket's site, it said they should be up by 11pm eastern time...wonderful.

I've entered lots of contests, but don't do too many voting types. This contest I could not resist. Win or lose, the kids will have a blast going through all of these pictures. I'd love to see the expressions on their faces going through them. The winners will have some real bragging rights. Thank you for having such a nice contest. Don't know how you came up with this idea, but it's a winner in itself.
Al - All your animals are so cute, but Pocco is so beautiful! So Max likes to sleep in bed on a pillow with covers? So does our pit bull, Raleigh. He has so many blankets and his own down pillow!

I am soooo sorry to hear of Sienna passing, that is sad. Sending you good thoughts. Losing your pet can be so hard, I can understand the difficulty and I think of my Seneca everyday.

Thank you for your comments. I actually got pocco when I went to Pet Smart to buy dog food. He was just a baby and they had just gotten him in. He was scared in a cage and whoever shipped him must have wrung his tail off. I was so POd I bought him on the spot. Needless to say after going in for dog food and leaving with a $1,500 parot and $1,200 cage my wife doesn't let me near the pet store any more... I had to hand feed him for 2 months and he thinks I'm his mother

That poor baby; I don't blame you for buying him that day. We buy most of our pet food at Pet Smart. I recall about five years ago, the store had just received a parrot that sounds a lot like Pocco was. The employees at the store loved him and paid a lot of attention to him, but the poor guy would sit and tremble. Anyway, we started visiting the store every Saturday so see the bird (by then, the employees had named him Weiser). He liked us a lot (took a few months), but was still frightened by anyone other than us, the store manager, and the employees. So, the store manager wanted to sell him to us for a really good price. We really wanted to, but didn't since we had cats at the time. I was so happy when the store manager finally bought him and took him home. Weiser was such a sweet bird.
