it occurs to me i may be responsible for the sauce for the chicharron's...hrmm...

ok...lot of trial and error.

my first true crack at Parmesian Crusted Tilapia with seasoned Red Potatoes (home style) in red-wine vinegar and cayenne butter.

Came out....ok...could be better...


Paired with....*sigh*....Voodoo....was not bad.


Paired with Longhorn...yeah..thats the magic right there.

Friday is Valentine's Day. So, what are you preparing? Or where are you going?

Up in New York, Friday's dinner will be after 18 hours of lovely snow/ice storms; we are prepared.

Margaritas always start things off well....

Rib eyes, well marbled, iron skillet seared, then finish in the oven, if needed.
Lobster Tails
Ceasar Salad
Farfalle with cream cheese and garlic sauce. (bow ties).
Merlot

Dessert is the classic Vanilla with Chambord Parfait.

My standard vapes will do. Prime for prep, and Malibu with Belgian for desert.

Tribeca! It goes with everything so far for me. Seems to change profile depending on what I eat or drink. Or Kringle's with spicy stuff

I'll be in Singapore, but I took my wife out last Saturday. We went to a locally owned restaurant that has really good food. My wife had Chicken Marsala with a nice Chianti and I had prime rib medium rare with a nice glass of Cabernet. Followed by some Voodoo...

For me no juice goes with liver as I refuse to even smell that nasty organ cooking. YUK! A liver's sole purpose in life is to filter out nasties in your body why would I want to eat some cow's nasties??? Same with kidneys...
