So I got vapemail yesterday, 2 gennys (AGA-T2 and AGI) and some new juice (Extreme Ice and Black Rock from MBV). I made my first attempt at building from what I pieced together from searches and youtube and they turned out pretty bad. They looked nice but where weak and one tasted burnt. Is there a website or post that is like the encyclopedia of genny rebuilding? I have the basics but need to troubleshoot and tweak.

Well I raided someone else's tools so I had an amazing selection of picks, mini screwdrivers, needlenose pliers, tweezers, and even some helping hands with magnifier. That made things super easy, which I guess holds true for all projects, if you dont have the right tools it makes things 10000% harder. The building and making it look good wasnt hard, and I enjoyed it. But, they dont work as they should, so none of that really matters. Just have another mod with a carto tank so you can vape something easy while you learn. Anyway I'll give it another shot tonight assuming I can find additional reading material.

I've found you don't really need a comprehensive guide, just some time and experience. If you are getting a burnt taste or if the vape is too hot, then you usually didn't make enough coils or didn't oxidize it enough. On all of my Genesis style devices, I use 32g Kanthal and I start with 5 to 6 wraps around the coil. Then I'll vape and unwrap as needed until I get to the right wrap. Works every time. This video from zen will take you through most of what you need to know.
