Marketing as a whole, why can't it Be Straight Forward.
With so many email sales, everyone trying to lure in customers some have said, 40% off the full inventory. But when you open their website, you only get 40% off if you spend over 200.00 that was not in the email, and to me that is just a sneaky way to get more traffic to their website. Be Straight Forward.

Down to the names they give the juice they are selling, one of them as example "Essence" you would never know what kind of juice that could possibly be unless you open it and read the full description. Why not be strait forward put a small description with the name if your going to use none descript titles. (pet peeve) Be Straight Forward.

Yes even Vape stores teaching their employees about the products maybe even require them to learn and know answers for customers. Not to be afraid to say I'm not sure lets look that up! Be Straight Forward.

Not vaping itself, but I've always disliked the way commercialism, politics.,and the media have treated it/us. Found a way to get rid of cigarettes and it's like a game to some. Should be treated like a miracle. Maybe it's just That big of a game changer. Time will tell the truth.

Just like @r77r7r said above the media is my biggest issue with vaping, i hate fact that its being demonized.

We dont have long term health research about vaping, true, but as the current researches state, its around 95% safer than smoking.
Will the number get smaller when years go by? Most likely, but i highly doubt that it will ever drop below 50.
Nothing is safe when inhaled into lungs.

If i look at my own issues with vaping, the occasional "this ...... juice is everywhere" messyness (is that a word :D).

Edit: oh and the style juice flavours are told.
Example, something simple like strawberry and cream flavoured could be said like this:
Home sweet home(name)- You are hiking in the woods, when all of a sudden, you fall. You fall into tasty pit of cream, strawberry catches you, it caresses you, petting your hair.
It follows you home, and watches you take a shower.
    It fondles itself...
IT JUST A ......N CREAM AND STRAWBERRY NO NEED TO TELL A STORY.

Juul, Blu, Vaporfi, .. any rip-off or tobacco company product.

I see MarkTen is all over, done and dusted... my, my - there is a god after all.

Premium juice that is normal juice, sometimes worse than $1 juice.

Reviewers who tell you something is good to get their commission and don't care if they recommend rip-off or tobacco company products. (Vaping360? like to comment?)

Yeh...so basically... rip-off products and bogus people who would sell their grandmother for a few $.

A disturbing factor for me is that ECF (my main source of e-cig information) and other sources of vaping information may be occupied by a significant number of vocal persons who work in or otherwise profit from the e-cig industry. I have no qualms with work, earning an income and profit, however I suspect the prevalance of such persons taints some of the information available here.

There are questionable matters regarding e-cigs. The oft quoted "95% safer" matter is one I question. I don't recall every having seen any of the science that would hopefully support that figure, yet it is gospel around here. Even if lacking science, it has its own life via constant repetition. At times other issues come up in the forum. Are there concerted efforts on the part of vocal beneficiaries of the e-cig industry to quell or negate questionable matters that would cause distress to the industry? "Spin" as it is known.

And hatemongers... Yes, they exist on both within ECF and the industry and of course, across the lines. One cannot read here long without running into rants regarding BT, BP and a host of others who might not support the dominant views of vaping found in this forum. It seems as if that is part of the indoctrination that vapers must go through. I don't have a lot of passion one way or another towards such alien entities. I'll not be recruited to join the hate campaings. Those outside our somewhat cosy realm are just part of what is.

Are the above matters mostly promoted by e-cig industry earners with an eye on promoting the industry, or just your friendly next door vaping pal? If the former case and taken as a whole, that tends to keep the center of gravity of information other than where it would naturally be.

Do I hate that..? As I began, I consider the notion a potentially disturbing factor.
