Thank you to all who have contributed their recommendations in this thread. My finances have suffered accordingly, and many (hopefully delicious) liquids are inbound.

For others who miss clove, I cannot praise Tasty Vapors' Kretek highly enough. For those who are not into clove, I refer you to the sign over the door of the dungeon.

If you don't like it, you can't have any!

I'd agree with that. All I get is creamy melon. I hate melon!

Glad to know I'm not the only one registering melon from this juice.

Personally Halo gets my vote for most overrated e-liquid. I've tried a few Halo products and I still buy Tribeca from time to time but they never really struck me as "WOAH" e liquids.

LOL. Torque 56 is Halo's best liquid, IMHO. But these days, now that I DIY all my juice, I think that ANY store bought juice is over-rated when we can create what tastes great to us, at any nicotine level, at any VG ratio, for FAR less money. I mix tobacco blends that are superior to anything Halo sells that cost me about $3.00 for 30ml. You do the math.

AIV was a vendor that I wanted to like and was initially disappointed in. Harsh, light to no taste. What I COULD taste I liked, but it was too fleeting. I discovered that AIV juice needs a loooooooong steep. They don't tell you what the VG/PG ratio is, but I expected it may be higher PG than I was used to, hence the harshness. I vape 50/50 or 100% VG. So when my initial order reached two months old and I was starting to really get into it, I figured I'd try again. Made special order of extra flavor and straight VG. I't almost a month old and I tried it knowing it wasn't mature. Gone was the harshness and the taste is coming along. Giving White Rabbit awhile longer before I even try it.

Why go to all the trouble? There's something about some of their flavors I just really like. I LOOOOOVE April Morning.

Just wanted to put a plug in for my formerly "Most overrated."

Grants Vanilla Custard is very overrated - but then I doubt any e-liquid could live up to the hype surrounding that one.

Most juice tends to underwhelm me, but this is probably in-part because I go into them all with high hopes because of all the gushing people do on the review section on vendor sites. Just be real with it and don't get carried away :glare:

5 pawns is overrated and in the UK severely overpriced, not sure if that's an indication it's overpriced in the states too as other much nicer US imports (such as the suicide bunny range) are not as extortionately priced.

this thread is interesting because i'd put mbv flavors as just as good as any other brand...if you want a complex juice from them combine them and BAM! you get exactly what your looking for

bobbs and gorilla's remains the only juice i'd be willing to pay over $15 for a 30ml for and even though i say that I've never reordered

so in short, any juice where ppl think they should charge over $15 for a 30ml bottle is overrated imo when you can get the same thing for $8 for a 30ml

How do you get the chemical taste out of their juice?
I've had a few bottles sitting here steeping for months; literally months and it still tastes and smells like farts.

Really? Really??? My WORST DIY was better than ANY of the MBV I have tried. Steeping made no difference. Caps off, no difference. Some of them tasted like I imagine RAID would taste like.

Your mileage may REALLY be varied.

I am not a fan of overpriced juice, either, but this "stuff" is really unvapeable, IMHO. UGH.

I DIY and treat myself to two "overpriced" bottle of juice a month.
I wouldn't call them overpriced though; there is no governmental interjection in this industry yet, the price has been solely determined by the free market.
I'm any case I usually get a bottle from vapingtiger.com and either 5pawns or lazerus. That way I won't get bored with my own creations.
As for MBV that stuff is so horrid, I shutter to taste the cooking of people who love it. No disrespect if that's your thing I'm glad you can get by that in expensively and maybe i just have an over sensitive palette.
Gonna stop there this thread is heading down the road of the gratuitous "juice is expensive". Threads that always gets me in trouble and a box full of hate-mail for logically supporting the free market system.
I once even put links to micro and macro economic principals on one.
I'm always amazed when i see people so adamant that anyone who spends 22-25 dollars for 30 mil of juice is crazy. Well, the free market determined the price. If i like it I'll pay it, and I'll make my own in between. Or I've already ordered some with extra flavor and double the nic, then split it with unflavored base. Now I just made a buy 1 get 1 free situation.
That's not so hard is it?
I guess I'm just one of those people that is willing to pay for what I like and find ways to make things easier and better for myself in the process.
Complaining about prices of anything has never made prices go down; last I checked.

Any juice that costs more than $0.50-0.60 a ml.

That's it is way way too much, it is 15$ to 18$/30ml. This is an obvious scam to DIYer.

Many vendors sell theirs at a small fraction of that price. I always find so amusing the fanboys of 30$/30ml of ANY ejuice. Hard to believe that those even exist. This is the proof that there is a sucker lurking in everyone of us.

i never had a problem...get my juices, take the tops off and leave them on my vaping desk open, shake them when i get home from work and when i wake up in the morning, after 5 or so days i'm good to go even though i will put the tops on and wait a few more days before filling a tank

but whenever i try an expensive juice, i'm like hmmm...i can combine this mbv and that mbv flavor to make this exact flavor, doing it with five pawn products right now

except peach, their peach smells lovely but i'm not into the flavor

send me some of your diy....so far i haven't found any expensive flavors that are like wow this is "different" than any mbv flavor....it's all the same, same ingredients, flavors may differnt but at the end of the day they aren't much different

Nope. You should learn to DIY, sounds like you are already partially on the way my mixing your flavors.

I am glad you found a juice vendor that you are happy with. Many people agree with your taste, just not me.

i can make and come up with flavors but i have no interest or the time to really DIY, i barely have enough time to build my own coils haha

wish i had kept my bobba's clone from mbv written down though, that was almost spot on, just didn't seem as thick as the original even at 100%
