That has got to be the most unbiased e-cig article I have read in a very long time. It gave both sides of the story and didn't overly devote to one side or the other. That reporter can actually do his job correctly. He deserves an award. Shockingly that article came from CNN. Great read though.

That avatar is the greatest american muscle car ever manufactured, sir! I am buying one from the 69-72 versions.

Oh, the article was nice and balanced, too.

Except that in the video, Neal Benowitz falsely tells CNN that "some e-cigarettes have a lot of contaminants", that e-cigs create nicotine dependence, and that e-cigs can be gateways to cigarettes.

And of course, CNN and Benowitz failed to disclose his enormous financial conflicts of interests (as he's received lots of money from drug companies that oppose e-cigs, and from the FDA.

I was shocked that the article was so balanced.

Me too. I'm about sick of people telling me that ecigs are bad because they glanced at a few recent headlines from other sources. Whenever I ask them why or if they can prove it they never can. Gets frustrating how easily people will believe some misinformation.

I just stumbled across this positive article in reason.com and was going to post it in the attraction to kids thread, but it closed.
I haven't had time to search Michaels blog for the quotes yet, to verify this statement, but, in my heart and mind, I know it's as true as the sunset is beautiful.

"Michael Siegel digs into the data and makes another important point: "Among youth who experimented with electronic cigarettes in 2012, the overwhelming majority—90.6%—were smokers."

If this has already covered, my bad. Its just One of those days...
