Caramela really tasted boozy to me. Not a fan.

hmm ... i kinda like boozy flavors, but only if they are intended to be that way ! I know you have given your opinion on some of them in the other thread, but if you could give a summary of the ones you've tried it would be appreciated !

Shagri-la is one of my favs and just taste like a good fruity vape. Not too sweet and not candyish.

Have you had the Nirvana to compare it to, Nirvana is like a mishmash of several fruit flavors? I've seen comments that they're pretty similar, would you say that there is any one fruit that is dominant?

I also really enjoy ShangriLa. It's definitely lychee, and with lychees it's not too sweet, not tart and sort of "earthy" tasting, whatever that means. It's one of my regulars now.

I just received Nirvana, but won't get a chance to try until I get home again next week.

Thanks for the review ! Unfortunately none of the ones you ordered was something i was considering. Don't really like custards nor watermelon !

The two i re-order from MOV are Southern Gentleman and Americano. Apache and Sunday Morning are occasional purchases.

I am putting in an order of Caramela, Chai Tea Latte and and Coffee and Cream as part of their three pack deal. They do have a running 10 % discount as well with code PBUSARDO

i am also considering Heavenly 7, Shangrila and Caribbean Crush for my next order

I just finished off a bottle of Shagril-la (it was about a year old and had a tankful left). It is a real nice flavor that is good out of the mail but IMO, becomes better with age. Never had lychee before this, in any form, and was quite impressed as it blended nicely with the peach.

Caramela was one of my favorites and was planning on ordering again. I liked the apple and caramel mixture (did not get a booze flavor though). Kind of stopped buying non-NET stuff for a while but still like to fill a tank and not worry about if the coil will last the night.

Heavenly 7 was one of my first orders from them and was not a fan. It really tasted as described (French Silk Pie) but it did not work for me as a vape. However, most straight chocolate vapes do not work for me; one of those flavors I like to eat but don't work as a vape for me. If that makes any sense.

Thanks for your thoghts !

Yeah it makes sense to me. I feel that way about vanilla. A touch of vanilla in a NET i can handle, but a strong vanilla or vanilla custard i can't.

I've tried Blu (hated it), and Johnson's Creek Tennessee Cured was one of my first ADVs, I really liked it. I've read this before of the two, but I think it is just a rumor, as they are in no way similar.

It's still my ADV for now but I go through a couple of atty's a week on it. It's a real gunk fest. Trying a new vendor (Mister E-liquid) as soon as my sample pack is done steeping. I can't be certain that the JC stuff is clean of diketone/diacetyl, so that plus the coil gunking has me looking to switch

I really like Mythos Athena but Aphrodite was hands down the most alcohol filled vape I've ever had and no amount of breathing/hot baths/steeping could fix it. I'm going to try more of their line in the future though because I want to support their position on diketones.

I can't imagine ever trying a 100 % vg juice. 70 is the max i can handle. But i was curious about the line.

So it was one out of two for you.

Yes. Athena is in regular rotation. Aphrodite is in the dump pile. Figuring out I was PG sensitive was pretty annoying to start with but I've grown to love 100% VG. For some reason, that I have yet to figure out, Mythos is not 100% VG. So what is it then?

Mythos is a PG-free eliquid (not to be confused with a 100% VG eliquid). Mythos is not a thick eliquid nor watery eliquid. (It looks like a 70/30 blend, where the 70% is VG) The consistency provides vapers who ‘drip’ the ideal viscosity because it’s thick enough to provide great performance and thin enough not to gunk up coils.

30 percent distilled water ? or in the case of Aphrodite 30 percent alcohol !? lol

Pendragon-lovely cherry tobacco vape.
Virginia Flake-just good and sweet tobacco
Shangri-la-see other post
Legendary-I liked it but had enough-I think it does taste like Banana Nut Bread, heavy on the nuts, light on the banana
Heavenly 7-strong enough to get me off cigs. Better the more it steeps. Strong choc presence but more, maybe graham crackerish
Paradise-not a rebuy-candy banana ish
Tropical Sunrise-good but not a re-buy-too many good Pina Colada's out there-this is not one
Blueberry Danish-heavy on the danish-way too light on the blueberry-
Caramela-see above post
Strawberry brulee-FAB-loads of vapor-lots of strawberry flavor-lots of brulee flavor

Thank you much ! Sold on Heavenly 7 and I might add Virginia Flake to the list too even though i had had enough of RY4's.

Foresight ! If you believe the FDA will approve juices that haven't been tested for diketones, i have a bridge to sell.

Gotta agree with that.

I bought "Gotti" and "Omerta" from MOV's "Creme de la Crema" line. I was not "wowed" by them FOOB, but I'll let them steep awhile before forming a final opinion. I so far agree with Jonner on "Omertà". To me the strawberry in Omertà has a "green" taste to it -- sort of like green apple -- that I don't care for. Gotti isn't bad - it's just not in the same league as Nicoticket's "Custard's Last Stand". Like others here, I"m trying to get away from e-juices that contain AP; I'll miss CLS. (CLS requires a decent steep too.)

I intend to try more of MOV's e-juices. I already have a list, but I got sidetracked by Ahlusion's recent sales. If I read Ahlusion's FAQs right, their juices contain zero diacetyl and AT MOST a non-quantifiable amount of acetyl propionyl - a level of risk I'm willing to accept.

@ the poster who wanted to know other manufacturers of D & AP free e-juices: Any on this list *should* qualify:

Finally, just FYI, Spinfuel has done several reviews of Mountain Oak Vapors e-juices:

You searched for mountain oak vapors - Spinfuel eMagazine

Those reviews were a while back, though, so formulations may have changed.

Chanel, I'm thinking this might be more in line with what I'm looking for, what is the "brûlée flavor?" I read their description, the only thing that turns me off is the caramel, do you get much of that, or is it more "custardy/creamy?" I am going to be broke soon with the rate that I am buying juice.

Hey, JRC.

If you had those results with MOV, for the love of God, don't try their Apache. LOL. I used to love that one, but I don't really do NETs anymore -- too much hassle and and now not enough reward for me. Things change for us, you know?

For me, I used to just about appreciate all the NETs I tried, so know that it shouldn't have to be a struggle to find something satisfying, and if it is, it may be trying to tell you something. I never thought I would be a fruit and dessert vaper, but that itch is easily scratched -- either by DIYing or by premades.

p.s. What NET vendor did you have the best luck from?

Things do change for us!

I too have migrated away from NETs. I've tried MOV NETs in the past, and while they were very good (I just loved Apache), I found them to be way too "dirty" (like many NETs); leaving behind a nasty build-up of burnt "gunk" on coils & wicks. In this respect- MOV NETs were better than some, but much worse than a few other brands of NETs that I've tried.

I have never tried MOV synthetic tobaccos, but I think it's high time I give them a try. I really applaud MOVs quest for making a safe product and appreciate their transparency in disclosing test results.

With that said- I'm mainly an Ry4 kind of guy, but I'm open to trying other great flavors. Any synthetic tobacco or "must try" non-tobacco suggestions for my next order?

I loved red drop from MOV, I just wish they made it in high vg. I used to vape it when I used cartos but approx 70pg would be a little harsh in my dripper nowadays... MOV is all my stepmom will vape. Great company, great juice and honorable transparency.

Not to mention- rootbeer double barrel is great among others :)
