Just chiming in with my take on a couple of MOV's custards. I've had them for a couple of months now so they're probably as good now as they're going to get. I've been vaping them in rotation with a bunch (like a dozen bottles) of Ahl liquids I've also been sampling. (I'm looking for new diketone-free ADVs.)

Gotti: When I first tried it FOOB, I thought "meh" - not bad, not great. Looking back, I think what I was missing was the thick, buttery feeling I get in my mouth when I vape other vendors' custards. As I understand it, that sensation is what you get from diketones, which is what I'm trying to stay away from. At the time, there was also a bit of a bite that I couldn't identify. After a bit of a steep, I loaded it in my little dripper and found that once I accepted that I was not going to get that "diketone" sensation in my mouth, the taste was pretty good. I also figured out that the "bite" tasted like a hint of lemon. I googled "Italian custard" and there it was - lemon zest or lemon peel. Not sure if this can be my "Custard's Last Stand" replacement, but I'll probably re-order this until I find a better diketone-free custard. If you like Italian custard, give it a try - just don't expect that thick diketone sensation.

Omerta: FOOB, I tasted something green. Didn't like it at all. It has toned down considerably with a good steep, but I can still taste that "green" thing in the background. It is definitely vapable now, but I'm not sure that I'll re-order this one. Still have about half-bottle left, so we'll see. At this point, I guess I like it but don't love it. The whole "diketone" sensation thing applies here too.

I'll probably give Capone a try at some point, but I'd also like to try some of MOV's other flavors (Red Drop, Strawberry Brûlée, Vanilla Dream, Chai Tea Latte, Grape Onya, -- and on and on....) :p

I've been noticing a sensitivity to higher VG, so I won't be trying the custards. But, curiously, the Vanilla Dream did not affect me that way at all. It's a good one. As to the Strawberry Brulee: every strawberry I've had from anywhere including this one and those from Ahlusion struck me as oily. Most folks would say they're creamy, to me just oily. But, that's just me.
And, I think it was Mr.Mann, who commented elsewhere on FlavourArt custard's hint of citrus. Yes true, and I think it is an Italian type custard and I suspect many juice vendors are using the FlavourArt essence.

Three more arrived yesterday: Chai Tea, Virgina Flake, and Caramel Movaccino.

Opened the Virgina Flake. Mostly tobacco - not really getting any of the vanilla and caramel. Will let it sit for a few days and see how it develops.

All in all, I'm pretty pleased with Mountain Oak. Still looking for the right liquid from them, but they ship extremely fast.

I also just opened the Virginia Flake, and agree with you. It's a nice tobacco, but also don't get much of the other flavors. Also put it aside for a while, though I was under the impression that MOV is presteeped, but maybe I'm mistaken.
I got the Movaccino a couple of months ago, as an experiment, never having tried coffee vapes. Thought it was good, but also decided that coffee vapes will never be more than an occasional vape, so I doubt I'll get it again.
All in all, I think MOV is an excellent vendor and I appreciate their responsiveness to any questions I've had about ingredients etc.

Had to open it. Love it!
I LOVE Virginia Flake. Love its sweetness.
I just don't get much sweetness from it. I'll keep it around for a bit and see if grows on me. Rangler sure did, so I imagine this might as well.

In my experience with MOV, all of their e liquids did better with a little age to them. Their synthetics seemed to come around in about 2 weeks and even better at a month or later. While the NET's seemed to take at least a month for them to develop some of the flavors and like most NET's, developed much more the older they became.

I have Red Drop and Blue Drop that were way too harsh on the citrus right out of the mail, but they have mellowed considerably with a couple of weeks and I highly recommend both to lemonade and limeade fans with a couple of weeks in the cupboard. I also love the Shangri-la. It is a peach/lychee flavor and I didn't know what lychee tasted like, but happened to find a can of juice yesterday and, ok, now I fully understand what is going on with this flavor and I like it even more:). I will definitely order from MOV again, but I'm new and my juice buying got a little ahead of my usage. It might be awhile. I want to try the Americano.

Thanks for the aging info, correcting my misconception.
I'm glad to hear this as I want to like all MOV juices. I'll let them sit a bit before drawing final conclusions.

Any opinions on the Classic Country, White Leaf and Blue Ridge, all of which I got in the same order and all of which I haven't tried yet?

The only one of those I tried is Blue Ridge; it was the one that got me off cigarettes for good over a year ago. Have not had it in a while as I went to more of NET type vapes lately but am going to make another order from them soon. BR is one I am going to order (along with Frostbite for my menthol kick and Caramela cause I really like that one). The blueberry mixes with their tobacco base nicely in it and really gets better with age (although I seem to have trouble letting it sit...lol). I always thought it had a little of a smokey quality to it.

As for the others, I have not tried them as the one is a ry4 which is not my cup of tea and the other is a vanilla which also is not my thing so can not comment on them.

I agree that almost all of the ones i tried improved with age, pre-steeped or not.

So far i rank my recent purchase roughly in this order :Caramel MOVacccino, Chai Tea Latte, Heavenly Seven, Shangri-La, Red Drop, Coffee and Cream. The first four, i would definitely consider re-ordering. Caramel MOVaccino is a definite re-order. Will be in my regular rotation along with longtime favorites Americano and Southern Gentleman ( don't recommend this to anyone but avid NET fans though ).

I won't try Red Drop again until the summer. Coffee and Cream doesn't do it for me, but it's one of their best sellers.
