Thanks Caff! I only watched #6.

I would definitely recommend checking out Session 9, vaporgal. It's a pretty unique take on the genre, IMO, and there's only a little bit of gore.

As an aside, I visited the Danvers Asylum a couple of times after it had been shut down. It's a gorgeous, but imposing structure, with an abundance of sharp angles and beautiful masonry, (primarily brickwork, but there was also a significant amount of granite and marble in use). Although I didn't go inside, (it was locked up), I was able to peer through windows and doors around most of the buildings, and the inside looked exactly like it does in this movie. It was definitely a creepy place!

I brought my camera along on one of those visits and, if I recall correctly, I shot three rolls of film: one black & white and two rolls of color. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line I seem to have misplaced the photo album that contained those pictures. ::sigh::

I'd recommend #7 if you like to have your mind twisted and pulled out your ear.

#2 is a movie you're probably not going to love, but I feel it's definitely worth watching once.

Agreed, FantWriter. I would add that Robot & Frank is also a movie worth watching. It's a simple story, and it's somewhat predictable, but I also found it to be unexpectedly entertaining.

Thanks Caff! Beautiful architecture. I will watch the movie. Don't you hate it when you lose film? My husband tends to take tons of pics and some roles of film have been lost.
