I have been dealing with vapors toung lately like never before. I got to the point where nothing had flavor and I stopped mixing and trying new ideas for I no longer trusted my ability to taste. A few weeks went by and I wanted to taste some juice I had made a week earlier to see how they were. And they were excellent. Better flavor than ever. Not knowing why, I began to search for the reason these juices were so much better. These were recipes I have made several times before and they were never this good. Went back to my ejuice calculator and my notes to find answers and nothing was apparently different. Then it dawned on me I had failed to add nicotine to the juices. I had been slowly reducing my nick amounts weaning off as best I could and this batch I had never added any. Its by far the best flavor I have had and I'm not missing the nick. This not to say my nick choice is bad I've used several brands and currently using a very a popular high quality transparent tasting nick. And my vapors toung has not returned. I'm wondering if vapors toung is a result of the nick only? I'm quite happy to learn I can live without nick at all. Any nay sayer's that say ecigs can't work for getting you off the stinkies msg me, I was a 30+ year smoker.

I find vapor's tongue (prevalent with newer vapers) is a result of your tongue getting calloused from the heat off the vapor. Let's face it, we're blasting our tongues with steam. It's gonna get calloused. Our tongues heal and adjust..fortunately. But when we start out (or after a long layoff), it's a bit of a shock to the palette. An antiseptic mouthwash aids in the healing (not to mention all the other benefits).
