Mr. Cheap here... best and smallest battery under $35

I am very cheap out of choice but also necessity. I have been using an Itaste vv3.0 for nearly two years and I was lucky enough to buy that off someone on Facebook for $12 and it had a Protank attached. It is all I have every really known and it served me very well but has finally died. I want to get into rebuildables but still use my old protanks and other non-sub ohm atomizers well. I am totally confused and overwhelmed with all the batteries out there. What battery options are good enough for using tanks such as the new Kanger Subtank and regular protanks, are not very bulky in pants pockets, and most importantly, are under $35. Any battery/rebuildable combos I can piece together under $45? Where is the best place to buy?

All well-reviewed quality mods, I suggest you look at reviews on youtube of each for details.

iStick 30W - $30 from myvaporstore
- Small, 2200mAh, (note: does not come with microusb chargin cable or ego adapter.)

iTaste MVP 3.0 30W (full kit) - $40 from vaporbeast (coupon:YEAHBABY)
- Larger, 3800mAh, charge other devices from it

Aspire ESP 30W (full kit) - $37 from myfreedomsmokes (coupon:MFS17)
- Small, 1900mAh

For clearomizers, if you're highly budget conscious, I suggest the e-leaf GS Air M as it's cheap and works very well; coils are also very cheap. For midrange in the $20-25 range, check out the Kanger subtank nano/mini, Aspire Nautilus Mini, or Eleaf Melo.

Ok thanks folks for the suggestions, I will probably go with the iStick 30w although I do like the option of the built in charger port on the MVP3. I will probably experiment with drip atomizers in the near future, but for now I want something with a decent sized rebuildable deck that is also a tank. I like the Subtank for the option of using premade coils and rebuildable deck, but I have a feeling once I get used to rebuilding I will rarely use premades anyway. The Subtank is in the $30+ range... any cheap but good rebuildable tanks under $15? The GS Air mentioned as having rebuildable coils sounds ok, but Ii will probably want to go bigger if I go through the effort of rebuilding. Looking forward to using organic cotton and bettering my flavor.

The Nano does not have an RBA section. The Mini does, and the Plus does. The mini can be purchased for ~$26 from myfreedomsmokes with the latter-mentioned coupon, the Plus is ~$30 (at MFS + shipping or vapesupersaver with free shipping).

I do not know of any popular $15 RTAs that also have swappable prebuilt coils, there may be some.

The only under $35 battery that will support sub-ohm coils I know of is the iStick 30. That said, when it comes to vaping (and everything else, come to think of it), quality matters. Don't buy the cheapest battery you can find--read some reviews and choose wisely. Especially if you want to sub-ohm. A good battery is worth paying a little extra for. Shop around--there are always deals and sales. And then there is Fasttech. :)

$31.69 Authentic Innokin itaste MVP 20W Variable Voltage / Wattage 2600mAh Rechargeable Battery - 3.3-7.5V / 6.0-20W / w/ USB charging cable / black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping way better then the istick will ever be

get this

is junk it does not read right and has alot of flaws wouldnt touch the i stick for sure if your low on cash

Innokin itaste MVP is alot better quality.

The MVP 3.0 may higher quality (it better be, it's MSRP is almost double!), but the istick 30w is a very good device thus far. I think you are seeing only what you want to in your posted video - above 10w it appears to be within 0.1 volts of what it reads. He mentions the 'flaws' he finds are based on conditions no one would ever encounter when vaping, and at the end he gives it a 'strong thumbs up'. The average review of the istick 30w is highly positive, and so I have no issue recommending it to people on a budget.

If someone has no qualm with paying more and is okay with a significantly larger device, they would be better off picking the mvp 3.0, sure. But then there are better devices than the MVP too. I could rant about how my MVP 3.0 broke after one day of use, yet my isticks are working fine for months.

I agree, my iStick 30 has been flawless--so far. But my MVPs are great--I wish one of them would die so I could justify a purchase of a new one, no luck. They seem to be indestructible.

iSticks 20 and 50 have all kinds of problems, though.

The Ego One Mega battery is a consideration. Not VV VW but from what I've researched, it will fire down to .5 ohms at about 30-35 watts, has a capacity of 2600 mah with built in micro usb charge port, and is a scant 22mm in diameter and 80.5mm long. They are just starting to hit our (U.S.) shores.
I'm a fan of stealth, currently using the 19mm 1100 mah non mega version and loving it. Can't wait to pick up a Mega for myself.
