I can't find the LR atty special at Nhaler....could you post a link? Thank you.

Cloudsofvapor is having a sale this weekend, and including a battery case with an order of two batteries. Good opportunity to pick up some high drain 14500s. Also, Nhaler.com now has black LR attys, with an order of 10 they are only $7 ea and come in a wooden case

Edit: Awwww...I found it....DUH...didn't click on the drop down box.

Just got my puffer yesterday. Wish I would have read tip #6 before I did. Soooooo, how do I get the plastic taste out of the atty?

You might not ever get the burned plastic taste out....all it takes is one "molten dripping of plastic" to land in or around the atty and that piece will reheat and smoke every time you try to use that atty. Try doing a physical inspection inside the atty for foreign material...you may actually be able "reach" in there and remove something stuck near the burner...those cart ends get plenty hot using an LR atty or even a regular atty. Trim your cart about 1/8 of an inch to space it away from the heat. I suspect not using filler material allows the "cart skirt" to heat up because there is not "filler" holding juice "inside the skirt" keeping it cool...clear as mud? HEY FELLOW PUFF hEADS...pull out your wick and bridge, repack any mesh sticking up on the sides insdie your atty, You'll get a much better hit with no bridge or wick, just the coil and the side mesh....but that atyy is for dripping only now with no bridge and no full mesh arch or wick...

Yeah, I figured if the plastic is permanent then ripping the bridge out might work. How did you trim your carts? Xacto, maybe sand it down instead?

My Puffer isn't working now. The button just got worse and worse and now...nothing. Sucks. I want my Puffer!

Maybe you should just PM MrPuff, he's very helpful! Good luck, I feel your pain. :(

Grrrrrr, I'm getting more and more curious to try those IMRs in my 901 MP1, to crank it up a hair. But so far I'm sentencing myself to live out the three regular AWs I already have, *sigh.* :p
Right now I have some UltraFires from madvapes and they are absolutely horrible with Nhaler's LR attys. I've been having issues with the atty firing for a second then cutting out. I thought I had it figured out when I noticed the MP was falling apart, but it resurfaced today. I took the atty off and tried it on my USB PT and it worked fine, through a normal 510 atty on the MP and it worked. Starting to think these batteries just don't like the LR, I should have the high drains in Tue-Wed. They were out of the spacers, might need to figure something out if they don't fit w/o them.

I trim my carts with an Xacto when I need to, it's pretty straight forward. As for the button, try it out with a continuity checker first. Originally when I ran into the 'short fire' issue I thought it was the button myself, and pushing it harder did seem to help a bit. But I tested it with a continuity checker and everything appears to be in order.

I have no idea what a continuity checker is but Mr. Puff is on the job. But damn! After trying this thing for just 2 days it is a real step down to vape with cartos or dripping. Those big, consistent, flavorful hits are :banana:

I got my high drain 14500s in from CloudsOfVapor yesterday and sure enough the NHaler LR attys that gave 1 second bursts with UltraFires are working great now. Vapor is warmer and the atty fires as long as I hold the button. :toast:

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it because I didn't read the whole thread, but it seems I am now saving enough juice by having eliminated waste for my Mr Puffer to have paid for itself in the month I have had it.

I bought a tougher puffer yesterday because the one I have is destroyed. I should have snipped the coil to make the battery fit looser, as the pressure from it has cracked the case at the top and center. Its being held together by rubber bands while I await the new one. Hopefully Mr. Puffer got my message asking that he send me a 901 model, as I forgot to request that when I ordered. (I was on the phone trying to convince my BFF to get herself one too, lol.)

As stated above, the puffer will pay for itself in juice in no time. :vapor:

Got the plastic taste out of my attys. Blew them out, flushed with hot tap water and just repeated that about 5 times then let them soak overnight in hot water. Whipped them dry the next morning and left them to dry for a little over a day.

Good as new.

Now I just have to show great patience and wait for my lil' puffer to come back to me. :pop:
