go to a mirror and watch the feeder hose while you take a draw on your mp-1. Report back to this thread...

on a side note, I'm gonna ask mr P if I can connect my lava lamp to the pulse switch instead of the on/off switch. I want to know if there is power on the circiut but also not wear the batt down. I only want the light to come on when I draw on it....it's a pain turning it on and off when I'm just sitting around at home...but I do still like the power off /on switch. I believe it needs that protection.

*BUMP* even tho I don't know what you're talking about (yet) lol, since I'll be getting mine any minute and am glad to see any discussions about them pop up! :D

On a possibly-not-very-related note, would it be easy to disconnect the LED completely if one wanted to? Mr. Puff did answer the part previously about it being soldered on or something, so can't just be disconnected & reconnected at will, but what about permanently? When I ordered he only had 901s w/ LEDs so I grabbed one, but would probably have rather had a stealth model (did also order a 510 in stealth).

You just have to unsolder it.
