Thanks for the update Goochkc! I have the high drain already ordered from Clouds of Vapor and I am real glad that I had ordered the spacers too. It will be nice not to struggle so hard with replacing the batteries.....

The new class of Polyurethane adhesives have their uses, but they are meant to be clamped to achieve full strength.When I got my MP1 I immediately noticed that it had very little epoxy holding the atty connector on. And while I have since read that MrPuff recommends a food safe glue like Gorilla Glue, I put a bunch of very cheap 2 part clear epoxy (I'm sure it's not food safe) on it.
Here is my favorite set up: Use a 510 mega cartomizer from Nhaler, take the batting out of the mouthpiece and get your vape on. It works really well. The tube from the bottle is a wee tad short for my liking, but it still goes in. This will only work if you have the 510 connection. I tried using a kr808 turbo cart from Vapornine but the 901>510 adapter makes it too tall for the hose to reach.
jerryd5,
I've been trying to work this out too. I'm going on a trip in a few weeks, and it would be nice to have a few days worth of juice ready to go.
I found that if you take a 3ml bottle, (got mine when I ordered flavors from here) twist the cap almost off and run hot water over the thread and shoulder area for approximately 30 seconds (you could also use any other heat source that didn't melt the bottle), then compress the cap down toward the bottle for about 30 seconds (or run it under cold water) until it cools down. In effect, shortening the overall height of the bottle so that it fits in our beloved MP1, but still being able to screw the cap tight. I was also thinking of trimming about 1/8 to 3/16 off the cap, so when you screwed it on, it wouldn't pull the tip back up again.
If anyone else tries this, please let us know how it worked for you.
Miss MIA is correct in her description. I will try to post a pic tomorrow if you still need it.
I made some new tips with smaller holes...I don't use the "sleeve" now, I just stick the hose into the hole with no "sealer ring sleeve".....I also angle cut the end of the hose, that goes into the cart, to make sure it wil always "leak" juice on the end where its supposed to if pressed up against the opposite wall.
I just posted this concerning protected 14500 3.7V batteries;
My reply;
I recently purchased a MrPuffer MP1 and bought 4 batteries from an online vendor. Once I received them, (one was DOA) I noticed that they read 3.6V on the side, worried I contacted MrPuff, he said that the voltage would work fine.
IMOA, the batteries are too long. They caused the box to distort, and now I've noticed a stress fracture on the side of the box where the battery sits. I have since removed the battery spring all together. This seems to have helped.
So, if you ask me, buy either Battery 3 or Battery 4 for your MP1. Their dimensions are shorter.Dimensions: 1.97 in x 0.51 in x 0.51 inCompared to Battery 1 & 2 which are longer.
Dimensions: 1.97 in x 0.59 in x 0.59 inDimensions: 2.01 in x 0.55 in x 0.55 inHope this helps you other Puffheads out there get the right batteries!
Dimensions: 2.05 in x 0.57 in x 0.57 in
What did you use to cut the holes? Size?
