Top feeders work fine with cartos. You need a longer tube that will reach the top of the longer carto. The cart should fit. Trim about 1/4" off it (the part that goes into the carto) and pull any filler if you are using any.

thanks for that info, thats not really going to do what I want, the tube and top feeder is clunky at best. isn't it possible to just change the battery connector to one like the wetbox and buy the bottle and needle and just shove it in?

Maybe not as pretty, but it performs better than the WetBox that tends to leak inside the box and basically only wets the carto's resistance wire. If you over pump the top-fed any liquid will be outside the box. And it wets the resistance wire and also wets the surrounding batting.

As far as conversion I guess it's possible.

You'll need a connector with a hole.

510 Battery Connector, Gold, Large Hole

The problem I see is that that the Puffer's connector hole probably doesn't line up properly for a straight shot with the needle. The switch at the bottom also means it's gonna be a tight fit lengthwise. I doubt the 'official' needle assembly being sold will work. You'll probably have to leave most of your new connector outside of the box, not flush like the Puffer.

Here's some pics, study them.

Why not just sell it and build one of these.

poland, and the brassy lands of google
Really starting fresh is a good idea. I think the bottle neck is warped with heat and the connector is offset to get it all to fit. See if the bottle will fit up the bottom of the connector like it is (rotating the bottle around), and then see if you want to do some creative needle bending to get it to work. Or, start fresh for 8 bucks.
