I've swung all the way back to using blister-pack coils almost exclusively now (again). CLRs, Aspire BVCs, and Nautis.

Chuck 'em when I'm done, and straight away back ta vapin'! :vapor:

Lazy, aye & I.
DP, can I ask where you are finding those CLR's? My usual haunts are out of stock. Thanks!

We're aligned there, Missy. I only have my stockpile remaining. One day, off the future, there will be sadness (when they're gone).

MAYBE Joyetech will get a clue and bring them back, but I'm not counting on it. :(

Like DP, since Christmas I've gone back to using blister pack coils, Nautilus and Innokin Zs.

Just for a change today I'm using one of my original Zenthis on top of the usual iStick 30w, at the usual voltage and the usual Menthol Chill 16 strngth.

I do have 3 Brunhildes for when I use up my (large) stash of coils though 1.jpg

Hello, and how ya be, TP'ers!! :D

Some daze ago, Mr. DPL and I celebrated the 9th year since we both first WOUND a tiny piece of koil and inserted some sort of kotton fluff.

How did we celebrate? Welp, of course by putting in brand new BVCs in our favorite respectives. Way to go, Mr. Longolino!!

Shalst we have a party for the TENTH next year?

On an unusually serious note, I am thrilled to see all of you!!!!!!

TPer's never die :)

MAYBE Joyetech will get a clue and bring them back, but I'm not counting on it.

Hopefully you (both?) also have some of the rebuildable heads? Yeah, back to winding, but.... ;)

The GT Nautilus is pretty fine - I've two so far - they'll come on Duty Tomorrow and Sunday.

I've never had a leak with them yet and to my mind they offer more taste than the 3 did ... but I'm in the TPD Zone and that version has an extra thick plastic glass which really rstricts the ammount of liquid you can get in them and the plastic mutes any flavour.

Yep, I'm still rebuilding all of mine! Problem is that o-rings snap, threads wear down, grommets tear. Can't find replacements for them anymore. I love my CLR's!

Don't overmuch like rolling your own coils?

Nah. Was never THRILLED with it, but did it. Everybody was doing it and I didn't want to feel like the oddball (that I am anyway!).

GT Mini and Nauti 3 have become two of my absolute FAVORITE tanks ever. Funny that the orig Nautis were "Okay" with me, but these two tanks changed that dramatically.

Good Gawd, YES. More than I'll ever be able to fit into a trash basket! :w00t:

Says in stock?

No more of the normal ones, but still in all - THANK YOU, SenorOck!

Thankfully, I'm keeping the spent ones, so can always re-wick them (many times before I even need to consider a new coil).

I'm pretty sure that I will end before my gear, or at least I hope so. If I make it THAT far into life, heckwidit - grab me a pack of Marlboros. ;)

I wasn’t a fan of the original Nauty tanks but my wife liked them. I’ve a decent stash of coils. But now that I’ve rediscovered the GT’s I wish I’d stocked up on even more of the coils. I wouldn’t have a clue where to get more or even if they are still being made.

They're easy to find, Mike. Many US vendors still carry them.

I normally lean towards ProVape (I know, it's almost "wrong"). They're not always the cheapest, but are very reliable, FAST to ship, and have been steady since they bought the name from our old friends, Phil & Dave.

Like I said though, they're not difficult to find if you ever need them.

Yup, rewick many times before needing a coil. And, uh, same with true RTAs ;)

Thanks, David! Headed over there now.

Happy to have found some! (And hope the site wasn't lying!!)

Agreed, although I hope to never have to cross that bridge again. It was fun for a while, but these days, I just want to vape.

The .5 CLRs were still available when I checked it. The 1.0s (that I like) were not.

I think I have enough though. :blush::lol:

I still run with a dozen rtas at all times, different flavors, of course. Keeps it interesting. After a bunch of refills, clean and wick, and maybe replace one coil every couple of months between them all. (Build to about 1.5 ohms, when they get up to about 2 it's time :) )

So not an onerous task. And when I do need to recoil, I'll usually wind up a few just to keep in a shot glass, for the next time.

Yeah, mostly just vape :)
