I couldn't believe the prices when I found this site. I was spending $18 for a 30ml bottle at my local B&M store (great stuff though). But these juices are about $5 for a 15ml and only $2.5 extra to make it a 30ml (and they have an option for a huge amount, I forgot how much/what amount it was).

How can they sell their juices so cheap compared to almost every other online store? And are the juices worth it? I made an order but I'm a bit worried they won't be high quality being so cheap. I did add 2 flavor shots for .25 cents each as some people said they some can be weak (which I think is partly stupid, without any flavor shots should be the norm and taste strong enough and then let people add shots if they want, but still it's a great deal).

Are there any other places online that sell e-juice for around the same price and as good or better quality? I like to try new places but I really can't afford to be spending much over $10 for a 30ml bottle.

Brick and Mortars have way more overhead (they have to pay for the building and to pay their employees) so everything you buy there will be more expensive. Online shopping is much cheaper in the vaping world.

MBV is one of the biggest vendors out there. They are known for great customer service and even better prices. I like many of their juices. And they have quite a following here on ECF.

Browse around for good prices. Some of my favorite vendors are:

MBV
Giant Vapes (free shipping on all orders)
Fuzion Vapor
Alice in Vapeland
Vapor Chef
Killer juice (very good prices)

Just to name a few.

With the disclaimer that all taste is subjective, etc. etc. - The only place I order from is Mt. Baker Vapor. I love their juice, their excellent service and very fast shipping, and you can't beat their prices.

My taste buds are pretty much toast after all the years I smoked, but I never get extra flavor shots, and find that the flavors are strong enough without them. My current favorites that I reorder again and again are: Green Apple, Pear, Grape, Cinnamon Roll, and Butterscotch. I also really like Get Razzled, which is a mixed berry flavor.

I have tried a couple of other places, but didn't like the juice at all compared to Mt. Baker.

Also, at Mt. Baker, if you order at least $15, after discounts, and not including shipping, you can request a free 15 ml. sample of your choice. Just enter the flavor, and nic. mg. in the comment box when you check out.

lol, I love MBV. no joke the prices are awesome. the juices IMO are evry bit as good, and in some cases better than the "premium" stuff available in B&Ms and elsewhere. I have only encountered one flavor from them so far that I couldn't handle, and that's hawk sauce.
some suggestions for MBV flavors
Moo Juice- I liked it so much, I got the 235ml (8oz)
Zebra Stripe
Rob E-juice

another MBV pro, is the 36mg option + flavor shots....... 36 is a nice number for figuring out dilutions 36, 18, 9, 4.5....
see where I'm going with that?
+free shipping over $50
+10% discount cards to give out
+those free samples are a great way to check out flavors you wouldn't think to try. like grape, guava, and rob-e, I would never have ordered.
+decent DIY supplies

My local B&M is also $18.00 for a 30ml bottle unless it's Suicide Bunny, that's $22.00 but VERY GOOD ! They also charge $40.00 for RDA's that you can get for under $20.00 online. Sometimes I don't mind paying those prices if it's something I want NOW and they are also some GOOD people !

I am VERY picky when it comes to juices and posted about it here and a few people recommended Mt. Baker to me so I figured I'd give it a shot. I didn't even pay attention to the prices until I got my invoice, then I though "this stuff is going to be garbage". Well, it wasn't at all !! I ordered 3 flavors Udderly Nuts, Afternoon Delight, and Coffee and I got a free 15ml of Bavarian creme. I like the 3 I payed for. Haven't tried the Bavarian Creme yet. I liked it so much I just ordered 5 more bottles (but that's trash because I guess I picked 100% PG. Though I chose max VG) So I ordered 3 just now of the right stuff.

I can't believe how much I like them.....the price is just a bonus !!

Mt. Baker Vapor is our main eliquid supplier, and we have liked most of the eliquids we have gotten from them.

Vapor Bomb is just a bit higher in price. They were the first eliquid vendor we tried when we started vaping a little over 2 years ago. The advantage to them, for us, was that most of the eliquids we got from them were vapable straight out of the mailbox, since we did not have a stash built up and had no time for steeping. They have a "Flavor of the Week" that is $10 for 30 ml, customizable to your choice of nicotine level and pg/vg ratio. They usually send a 5 ml sample, their choice of flavor, but in the same nicotine and pg/vg as the rest of your order.

We have used The Vapor Room several times. They have 4 "Flavors of the Week" priced at $10 for 30 ml and a "Weekender" - a 15 ml bottle for $7 Monday through Thursday, $5 Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They offer a free 15 ml bottle to new customers - specify your choice of flavor, nicotine, pg/vg in the comments before finalizing your first order. They also send a free 3 ml sample with every order - you can let them choose, or specify what you would like in the comments.

Killer Juice has pricing similar to MBV. The eliquids I ordered from them are steeping, so I can't yet comment on taste.

Seattle Vapor is another vendor we have tried. The flavors I got from them that I have tried have been good - the rest are still steeping. Their pricing is a bit higher than MBV, but still doable for our budget. I have ordered from them twice, both times I got a free sample. I am not sure if this is a regular thing with them.

I like MBV just don't like having to let it steep. I am an instant gratification type person. my coal b&m carries zeus juice. and they got me hooked on a few flavors. I am more about the flavor than the throat hit or the vape cloud. really digging their strawberry cotton candy it is not dingy like so many other vendors cotton candy I have tried. there are so many variables that go into personal flavor choices. and it is more about learning your personal taste than trying vendors. getting your pg/vg ration correct, mic level, and flavor additive correct is essential to ordering correctly online. and that is where trying flavors at the local b&m will always win. I personally love my local shop and will support them no matter what. not saying I don't order the bigger bottles online. I just try to support my people when I can. even if it costs me a few extra bucks.

You just can't beat mbv for stocking up on juice. I did it backwards. Spent money trying $22 a 30mil. bottle juices, only to find I like the simple stuff just as well. I won't lie some of those expensive juices are good, but for all day I usually choose something simple. If I would have started with mbv I would have a stash built up and only need to order periodically. I'm just now catching on. Build up a stash of stuff you enjoy then you can splurge when you have the extra cash. I'm in love with Lazarus Vintage Sir James VSOP, man this stuff tastes just like German Sweet Chocolate Cake. This is a well done juice. I will get some only when I have spare income, and then use it only when I want to sit and really enjoy it. I vaped my bottle much too fast. Now to answer your question. Here is the next place I will try. In keeping with my stash building theme.

Taste is subjective, I love cinnamon roll by Mt. Baker Vapor. Their popular flavors such as Thug Juice and Extreme Soda, I disliked. My local shop is pretty similar in prices, but I'm moving up to like Space Jam and Drakes Vapes which is $14.99 for the 15ml bottle.

Good grief, paying that much for Space Jams is criminal. Their flavors are okay, not what I'd call stellar by any stretch that would justify that price. For that money you'd be buying Five Pawns which has far more flavor, or Nicoticket with it's stellar lineup and SAVING money. Most local shops AND the juices they peddle are high on price and low on flavor.

Subjective taste and aroma indeed. MBV .......... tastes and smells like "perfume" to my burnt out taste buds and picky nose. Never again. :(

Tom

That is a hard thing to get past....I didn't get it from Mt. Baker but I have a few bottles from Ahlusion that smells and tastes that way to me.

On pricing... Start with actual cost of the product. I DIY my own eLiquid. Let me give you an example. Keep in mind that this is MY actual cost to make 5ml of 12mg Black Cherry eLiquid.

Ingredients:

.6 ml Nicotine liquid (100mg/ml VG based)
2.58 ml PG
1.38 ml VG
.4 ml flavor (Black Cherry in this example)
.05 ml distilled water

Materials cost:
120ml 100mg/ml Nicotine..........$24.95/bottle........................$.21/ml
2 gallons PG.............................$59.74..................................$.008/ml
2 gallons VG.............................$45.95..................................$.006/ml
120ml Black Cherry Flavoring......$006.00................................$.05/ml

Actual Cost to make 5ml of Black Cherry 12mg eLiquid:
0.6ml nic...................................$0.21/ml..............................$0.13
2.58ml PG.................................$0.01/ml..............................$0.02
1.38ml VG.................................$0.01/ml..............................$0.01
0.4ml........................................$0.05/ml..............................$0.02

It costs ME 17 cents to make a 5ml bottle of Black Cherry eLiquid. 30ml would cost me $1.05. I have no idea how much eLiquid MBV makes in a day, but at the quantities that they buy the raw materials, their cost should be far lower than mine.

The differences in price between vendors are operating costs and profit. That $18 of juice you bought costs $1.05 to make even when you are not buying raw materials in bulk.

Volume and economy of scale. The MBV website according to Alexa averages about 12,500 unique visits daily. Even conservatively estimating 10-15% of visits result in an order, and it's likely higher, that's a scenario where they can afford a lower profit margin per bottle and still make money.

And are the juices worth it?

Completely subjective. I order most of my juice from them and am really happy with it. But nothing works for everyone, and a juice one person raves about can taste like poo-filled gym socks to the next person. You just kinda have to try it for yourself.

I made an order but I'm a bit worried they won't be high quality being so cheap.

A lot of people do link price with quality. It's not always true. One of the most God-awful perfumy, chemically nasty and harsh vendors I've ever tried was also one of the most pricey. But again, it's all subjective.

I did add 2 flavor shots for .25 cents each as some people said they some can be weak (which I think is partly stupid, without any flavor shots should be the norm and taste strong enough and then let people add shots if they want, but still it's a great deal).

Again, this is subjective. A lot depends on your taste buds, equipment and technique. Also since it's freshly mixed, whether or not you steep. Steeping is key to enjoying MBV juice in my opinion.

Personally I get zero shots in most of my daily staples and in a properly cleaned and maintained clearo on a vv or vw device after a proper steep (2-3 weeks) they're fine and quite flavorful. In some I get one shot. Never more than that. Too much flavoring can actually turn any juice chemically or perfumy, in my experience. But can't say it enough...it's all subjective.

Are there any other places online that sell e-juice for around the same price and as good or better quality? I like to try new places but I really can't afford to be spending much over $10 for a 30ml bottle.

I don't know about better, that's all a matter of opinion, but vendors with comparable prices would include Bulk Ejuice, Killer Juice and just slightly higher ECBlends. I've used all of them at one point or another, personally with the exception of a couple flavors (that I've tried, the Killer Juice is still on its way or steeping) none were bad by any means but I personally prefer MBV.

But taste is subjective...ymmv...Have I said that yet? Lol

It's true they have low prices but i think a lot of people will have a really hard time finding a juice from MBV that they really enjoy. I messed around with so many of their juices for 2 months and was not impressed. Mind you i just started vaping so i never had any of the more premium brands. Then i try brands like Gej NET's and i was completely blown away. I don't have to mess with extra flavoring BS and PG/VG ratios. I get the same perfect bottle of juice everyone else orders. Ya they are about 50% more expensive but if i am going to vape i rather enjoy it.

MBV juices smell so weird, almost like nail polish remover. All i can really taste is chemicals. The flavors they list never stand out in taste for me. I was given a bottle of Nicotickets creme brulee recently and it smelt and tasted just like the real deal. Heck it even made my mouth water it seemed so real. These experience just overshadow MBV so much.

That is a hard thing to get past....I didn't get it from Mt. Baker but I have a few bottles from Ahlusion that smells and tastes that way to me.

Yeah, both Ahlusion and Virgin Vapor are straight up chemical/perfume with a strong shot of un-evaporating (is that a word?) alcohol to me. But that's the whole subjective thing! Different people's taste buds really do interpret things differently and both of these vendors work for a lot of people. I've had people give me the spiel about my inferior taste buds simply not being accustomed to natural flavors yada yada...which is horsepatootie, if you knew anything about my diet and lifestyle...but it really just comes down to the individual taste buds and brain and how they interpret flavors. Find what works for YOU and be happy! :)
