That has happened ONCE in the last year, and flavors are now becoming available again. It wasn't their own doing, it was due to their flavor mfg. Other businesses that shut down orders because they're too lazy to hire more people, or they'd rather keep all the profits themselves (catering to their own needs instead of their customers) is in my eyes a piss-poor business model.

I don't think anyone starts a business with the idea of having the customer profit to be honest ;) It is a business after all. That's why we can choose who we give our money to, or not. As I'm not sure who you are referring to... but I've dealt with Ahlusion, who do in fact close on a "capacity" basis. But I feel as though they do cater to their customers.

Ah yeah, all those lazy small business owners.

Wouldn't hiring an extra "helper" to get juice orders ready be more helpful to the customers, instead of closing and saying "sorry, try again later"?

If you went to your local go-to grocery store, and they had a sign up in the window that said "sorry, we're too busy to help you right now" would you think to yourself "oh, that's OK, I guess I'll just come back later!"?

I've read it. I think it's BS for companies to close at will to fill orders. I'll reiterate; would it be acceptable for a grocery store to close because it was too busy? Would it be OK if the post office closed because there were too many letters to sort through? I also suppose it's OK for a gas station to close because "we've sold enough gas today already, we're going to go home and drink beer, thanks for your (almost) business though!"

Enough cluttering up this thread. MBV offers great juice, at good prices, ships quickly and is extremely thorough with their customer service. A great vendor all around.

Maybe it's different where you live, but here all those places have closing times. You're comparing these small juice vendors to a Federal agency and 2 different types of MEGA corporations.

Small business are just that. Who knows if they do want to grow larger? Maybe it's a side business? We really can't dictate what they do with their business. The difference though, a grocery store IS a large business, and desires to be, out of need as well as profit/want. I love mbv, but I also love other small businesses ;)

Have you tried Solar Flare? It's gobsmack'n good stuff! It's citrusy and sweet/sour/tart too.....maybe ask for it as your freebie next order. I think it will knock your sox off!! It's also a great palate cleanser for the dreaded vapor's tongue! And kudos on the PIF...good karma there!!

I just got their Lightspeed in with a high VG... it's good, very nice citrus flavor =] Vaped it all last evening and this AM before work - straight out of the mailbox :p The flavor comes through GREAT on a CE4, but you know citrus, it's a tank cracker, so I switched to a pyrex protank and it's still good =] I've been happy with them, even if I stick to my sweet/sour/tart juices and stay away from those bakery juices everyone else loves LOL

Ah, asked for and received a 'sticky bun' juice this last order...nuh uh... not gonna happen LOL Sticking to my flavor profile, no more bakery samples for me... Going to PIF it to a new vaper once her eGos come in =]

didn't know this....thanks for the info!!

If anyone is not aware, or has not seen it... MBV has a blog. Perhaps one of the most useful blogs* in all of vaping blogdom. Check it out when you get a chance.

*OK... that might be a bit much... but it is a decent blog. ;-)

While I agree with your statement that it's a vendor's choice to shut down whenever they need to, in regards to MBV being OOS for several weeks....in the spirit of fairness...That was actually a very rare occurance, and one in which they were transitioning with their own flavor supplier. They are working on a state of the art lab and doing everything possible to keep up with the huge growth they've had. Those of us who consider them our go to vendor for juice stuck it out, and James was very good about keeping us updated on the FB page. It's unfortunate that you happened to be exploring them during that time, but it is not an accurate portrayal of their business as a whole. :)

It's their choice to run their business that way. Also, to be fair, MBV runs out of juices for weeks at a time. Atleast they did when i was exploring them.

When I started my career about a decade ago, I could not understand why my boss didn't want to expand... A decade later, I finally understood... For some business owners and high power execs, business is their life, for others, like me, I find my income to be an opportunity to spend my time with more important things in life, family, friends, and hobbies...

There's nothing wrong with either in my opinion, I certainly would not work just to work, my work supports the things I love, once work can no longer give me that option (money and/or time), what's the point?

I'm a firm believer of the free market, if private businesses decides to close business, that's their prerogative...

Back to the topic, gonna savor the juices I bought from MBV and I look forward to the next order!

Yes!!! I have been waiting for it =] Just got a shipping notice a bit ago! Thanks for pointing it out, though - I think it's perfect for my preferred flavor profile!
