How big is the hole in it ??? are you filling thru the screw hole ?

I've filled both through the screwhole and the top. It's a very small hole on the carto. I've tried a carto with a larger slotted hole that was not a dual coil and it flooded the drip tip badly.

The problem does not seem to be with the integrity of the O Rings.

All 4 o-rings are in place?

The cartos are a tight fit? (A bit of eliquid is good to lube them.)

Holes/slots aren't too deep, cutting right into the filler?

Not over-filling, there is a little air at the top of the tank?

The hole/slot is fully above the bottom cap?

After the initial fill, you blow through the drip tip to clear any initial slop in the center tube?

If the above are all Yes, I might suspect you had several bad cartos. I vape a pretty thin eliquid, with a single large slot in my cartos. I have used kanger, boge, and Ikenvape fusions on the tank. There have been some bad cartos lately, fortunately I now exclusively use fusions, all good.

I've had the exact same problem. I have two small M1 tanks and one large one. One (small blue) works like a champ but the small green one and large brown resulted in every carto leaking out the bottom. Tonight, I pulled the small green one from the tray I had thrown it in and tried something else. Using a standard resistance Boge (same as before) I carefully filled the carto with about 18 drops juice and let it sit by itself for about 15 minutes. Then I blew it out, put a drip tip on and carefully inserted the battery end through the tank. Put the carto in part-way, then filled the tank from the battery end. Pushed the battery end through, carefully put the screw in part way & then turned it right side up and again let it sit for a few minutes. Only then did I turn the screw enough to hold the carto tight. NOW, it is working like a champ with no leaking.

Thank you for this reply.

Yes. This tank's a lot easier to secure the caps with than any of the other tanks I've used.

The cartos are a tight fit? (A bit of eliquid is good to lube them.)

Yep. And you're right, the lubrication really does make a difference.

Holes/slots aren't too deep, cutting right into the filler?

No. The slots on these are actually very small.

Not over-filling, there is a little air at the top of the tank?

I am only half filling the tank.

The hole/slot is fully above the bottom cap?

Yes. Interestingly enough, the thing is really on leaking when I fill it above the carto's slot.

After the initial fill, you blow through the drip tip to clear any initial slop in the center tube?

Yes. I also take a few dry pulls.

I'll have to look into the Fusions. I'm pretty tired of paying a premium for someone else to punch my cartos anyway. Got any recommendations for a punching mechanism?

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. I take it from just what I'm reading in these replies and elsewhere that dual coil cartos aren't preferred with this tank?

I use a dremel, the tube-cutting wheel, to cut a slot; since we have one it was an easy choice. Others who punch cartos seem to have good results using a 1/4" self-piercing saddle valve, from the plumbing section of a hardware store. (It's used for small lines, like refrigerator ice makers or humidifiers.)

I don't know whose saddle valve is good, whether the one at a Lowes is better than the one at a Home Depot. I'm sure someone will chime in :)

Thank you. I'll have to hit up one of those places after I place an order with IKV. Needed some more I06's anyway.
