There were 4 vapers out of about 40 of us at the Audiokarma Octoberfrankenfest in Clinton today.

Saturday October 26th - The Fall FrankenFest in Clinton MA - AudioKarma.org Home Audio Stereo Discussion Forums

I picked up a good serviced RCA 8-track player for $20 and a clean Led Zeppelin 4 (Runes) for a buck.
The Zeppelin LP has Pecko Duck in the run out groove so that makes it mastered by George Pekham.
George Peckham - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jim gave me the Beatles Special Collectors Edition issue from Rolling Stone for free.

We BBQ & eat tons of grub, they tip a few suds & we play/sell/buy music/stereo gear.
I helped one of the tenants there learn about vaping and gave him some links.
He wants a Vamo, a Protank II, some evods and you can guess where I sent him for tasty, inexpensive e-juice :)

I found this little note as is

i like todd's shirt. looks like something i would wear :)

todd's costume guy must have been in love with him.

this was the earliest of some normal stuff todd wore. as evidenced by this infamous getup:

Todd-Rundgren-1973-Concert-Photo.jpg

todd made him change the "mary tyler moore bob", but that's it. and this is kinda tame compared to some of the other stuff.

todd had just walked across asia before coming up with the themes for that album, some say he was a sufi at the time. funniest thing is that his bass player, John Seigler, had decided he didn't want to tour anymore. when he got back, Rog and Willie were like, "we found the greatest guy" in Kasim Sultan. todd wasn't impressed. in fact, Kaz is singing one of Roger's song's as his was the weakest song on the album, though they did play it on tour.

however, to this day, no musician has played with todd as much as kaz has! and kaz has played with a ton of people since then.

so far, the graham cracker smells the best of the stuff i made today, but i'm hoping the root beer float comes out the best. :vapor:

I didn't know how good he plays until I got a couple of Nazz albums.
He plays some wicked and sometimes vicious riffs on Nazz and Nazz Nazz :)

Been vaping Sticky Bun & Ocean Breeze in my Protanks all day.

ah ha! the multi quote is working now - and I already replied to a couple of the ones I was quoting in the last post..sigh

I'm from all over.. moved around a lot.. dad wasn't military - well before I was born but... I'm a computer brat instead of a military brat.. got the rhetting (retting?) up from the German part of the family that lived in Jersey

hey now.. bad hair metal.. right there with ya kiddo - big hair.. leopard shiny spandex- loud raunchy tunes...and I wasn't 14 at the time.. I was 14 in the 70s

The Pennsylvania "Dutch" are Germans. They'd say they were Deutsche and that got interpreted by the "English" as Dutch. So your German relatives probably got "retting" from the same place the PA Dutch did.

And I was following those hair bands when I more like 25 rather than 14. I was 14 in '73.

there are some serious riffs on those! he changed his style after that, complicated chord progressions, but some seriously amped up lead lead pyrotechics. given a big enough stage, you'd get tired tired just watching him fly around it. it is fun to hear him play some "normal" guitar on the Nazz stuff.

i like the guitar work he created for Meatloaf:

Way back when from about 5-8th grades or so Ozzy was my favorite and I was also a really big fan of Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, and a bunch of others I don't really remember. I got into Metallica and Megadeth immediately when they came out still a big fan of both of them. Thank God for Nirvana. I think I was in 11th grade when they came out. I got way more into music when bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, and all them came out. The first concert I ever went to was Stone Temple Pilots at Darien Lake in NY. It was just after their first album Core was out. Since then I have seen Metallica, Marilyn Manson, NIN, A Perfect Circle, Sepultura, and a bunch of smaller venue lesser know metal/hardcore bands. I think my favorite concert I've ever been to was Pearl Jam at London Arena on the Binaural Tour. (I was stationed at RAF Lakenheath UK at the time) NIN and A Perfect Circle concerts were also in London. I'm sure there are a few more I can't remember at the moment I went to quite a few concerts from age 21-31 or 32 or so. Oh The Butthole Surfers is another band I've seen.

PS - Add me to the Wish I went to Pink Floyd list. I love Floyd I have The Delicate sound of Thunder DVD as well as Pulse. I would say The Wall and Dark Side of the Moon are my favorites by them.
Oh just wanted to add my absolute fantasy concert would be Pantera before they split up and Dimebag was still alive.

Been Vaping on Blue Moo and Butterscotch most the day. :vapor:

Just ordered from MBVapor based on recommendations from here and their online shopping experience. The website is great. You get choice of nic strength, pg/vg mix, and extra flavor shots if desired. Shipping was not free as stated above, but usual and reasonable. Plus I found this coupon code page (http://www.retailmenot.com/view/mtbakervapor.com?c=3488672) and got 10% off order but missed the shipping coupon. Now if they taste as great as the shopping experience was, it is a total win!

Ok, got the juice from MBVapors. I got coconut, apple rings, and afternoon delight. 80PG20VG blends with 2 extra flavor shots. I was not impressed, even after a week of steeping. Flavors are very muted, and for the coconut hardly even noticeable. If I try again with them, it will be full flavor shots at the least. Anyone else have this issue with them, or these flavors?

im a fan of mbv, but i do not like their coconut. to me the regular coconut, and the coconut cream pie have both smelled and tasted like plastic. I've never tried the other two juices so i can't comment.

I haven't tried coconut from MBV but I do have ones from Dekang, another online vendor, and a local B&M. All three are very weak and muted. I have had the same issues with pineapple flavors. I have written them off as "not for me" and no longer order them from anyone.

Apple Rings is the only juice I have purchased from MBV that I could not vape due to taste. I gave it to a friend and she said it was the worst juice she had ever tasted. We agreed to pour 30ml down the drain. Based on all the 5 star reviews on their site and other positive reviews I have seen on this site I believe something went wrong with the mixing of my bottle.

Edit: I'm wrong. I have not tried Apple Rings. It was Peach Rings that I found unvapable.

I haven't tried any of these flavors, sorry. Some of the strongest flavors I've had from MBV are Extreme Ice, Solar Flare, Root Beer, and Key Lime. These are the ones that seem to cut through any other food flavors or Vapor's Tongue for me. Give them a look on the site if any of those sound like flavors you'd like to try.

Peach Rings is also one of the few flavors I really didn't care for....

Anyone used the ce2 dct replacement Cartos from mbv? I ordered them on accident and haven't found much for reviews I remember the old ce2's were a nightmare to get to wick but were amazing when they did wick. Looks like they've made some improvements though.
