Thanks! Yeah I would be happy with that. Thinking of just getting the 236 ml of the nic base that already mixed up with the PG VG and try my hand at a few flavorings. Does it seem like you save a lotta money doing it this way? I would do the math buy I suck at math! LOL

I've never done any DIY (haven't been vaping long enough to venture that far, to be honest!) but yes, you would save a lot of money. One bottle of the 236ml nic base will get you - as near as makes no difference - about nine 30 ml bottles at a cost of $3.33 US a piece. Flavorings are 2.99 for 15ml, so you'll get about four 30ml bottles worth out of each of those, if you use the ratio you suggested earlier. Assuming just one flavor per bottle of juice, your total cost per 30 ml would be about $4.05. That's per 30ml, not 15, and not including the cost of the bottle, extra flavoring, multiple flavors, etc.

...or get an 8oz bottle of 24mg, mix it with an 8oz bottle of pg/vg then add flavoring for more savings...

Most do not need any sweetner unless you are going for a candy taste. I have added it Strawberry , Blueberry and Butterscotch mixs at 5%. Hate to say it but TFA Starwberry Ripe is muh better than MBV (FW) Starwberry and only way I get a good Blueberry is combining several different brands plus sweetner if I am after a nice Blueberry.

This ejuice calculator was developed by Scubabatdan, an ECF member. It includes a tab that calculates the cost of your juice if you are interested in plugging in numbers and letting the spreadsheet figure it out for you.
And here is the thread for his calculator on ECF: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...e-calculator-added-quantity-calculations.html
I think it depends on the flavor you are wanting. From what I read some need sugars added. Not sure though. Advice from someone more wiser than me is needed on that. I think you add those crystals for mint.
The crystals are for adding menthol, and they are usually dissolved in PG or VG then added to your juice. You can also buy liquid mint and menthol flavorings (my preference, just for ease of use). :)

Update on my Blue Moo, Strawberry and Bananas Gone Nuts from MBV mixed on 10/23, it's been 5 days and they're starting to taste better.

Strawberry tastes like a strawberry flavored protein shake. Very artificial, but it's not bad. I'll be bringing a tankful with me to work today.

Blue Moo still tastes a bit like butter and blueberries, and the banana one still smells perfumey so I haven't tested it yet.

Glad to see the flavors coming out!

It sounds like you might need another week's steep. I recommend removing the caps and dripper tops on Blue Moo and the Banana one for a couple more nights and shake the crap out of them :) Aerating them should help get some of the perfume out.

Is it just plain strawberry? Or strawberry......something?
