Okay, who has MBV Rainbow Sherbet? Besides me, obviously. Clearly I have it, as evidenced by the fruity cloud floating just above my head.

My favorite fruit vape was Unicorn Blood by Fuzion Vapor. Alas, another of my boutique faves has fallen victim to MBV mixology.

She's five days old, so I figured I'd give the Sherbet a go while my Butterscotch, Dulce de Leche, and Maple Pecan frolicked together in a nice warm UC bath. Glad I opted for the steel tank on my Kayfun, as this juice is heavy on the citrus. I'm tasting an uncannily accurate representation of raspberry, orange, and lime. The lime is at the forefront, but experience with DIY'ing MBV's Mt. Dew (er... Extreme Soda) with Ecto Cooler has taught me that the lime will mellow out a bit over a few more days. If it lasts a few more days, that is. Short life expectancy on this one. Do note that this flavor is definitely zingy enough to be a potential plastic-cracker.

Cracker or not, it's pretty yummy if you like the real thing. No cool hit, though, which was a bit of a downer. Otherwise excellent. Nice palate-cleanser. Worth a try when it shows up on the menu.

here you go roonies!

that took forever, no one spelled sherbert right! :p

i had to search rainbow!

Thanks Dusty and Strat for the Pusser's historical account...wow! both of you!! No, spoose is not British...he just believes all seafaring vessels, and in particular, Dragonfly, our sailboat, must never leave the dock without a full bottle of Pusser's. I'm perfectly happy with Woodchuck Amber hard cider myself....now....to work.....really this time!!

Pusser's is a brand name of rum produced by Pussers Rum Ltd. Pusser is Royal Navy slang for a purser, a ship's supply officer, now called a Logistics Officer, in the Royal Navy; thus the word became naval slang for "one hundred per cent Service", as in "pusser's issue", meaning anything that is supplied by the Royal Navy, such as a "pusser's grip", the name given to a canvas bag that sailors may use instead of a suitcase (it folds flat and is thus easy to stow on board ship). Pusser's Rum is sometimes known as Nelson's blood, in honor of Horatio Nelson, one of the greatest Royal Navy commanders in history.

In 1979, nearly a decade after the Royal Navy abandoned the custom of the daily tot of rum, company founder Charles Tobias obtained the rights to blending information associated with the naval rum ration and formed the company to produce the spirit according to the original Admiralty recipe, a blend of five West Indian rums without colouring agents. The Royal Navy Sailor's Fund, a Navy charity, receives royalties from the proceeds of each bottle of the rum sold, and that is now the charity's largest source of income apart from the founder's original bequest.

The Royal Navy issued the last tot to 'the fleet' on 31 July 1970. Since then, this has been known in Royal Naval Slang as the 'Black Day'. The remaining rum stocks were put up for auction. They were bought by Brian Cornford and shipped to Gibraltar and held in a secure bonded warehouse. As each visiting Royal Navy ship visited Gibraltar it was the task of Cornford and his General Manager, John Kania, to supply individual, wax-dated, corked, wicker-covered demijohns containing full strength (approx 110 proof) to the ships. When the individual gallon jars were finally sold, the large wooden barrels were tapped. It was found that over the years some of the contents in each wood barrel had evaporated, and diluted the strength to a slight degree, though some would say it simply mellowed. The barrelled rum was decanted into litre bottles and sold primarily to RN, RAF and Army messes and selected local Gib pubs.

Some Genuine Royal Navy Rum still pops up in premium auction houses, and apart from the collectability aspect, the contents are vintage, and because of the wax seal is still as powerful as the day it was bottled. It is rarely seen, though bought at auction (the last time for GBP 1250) for special ceremonial events. This is not to be confused with the commercially bottled Pussers Rum seen on supermarket shelves dated after 1970.

Part of the reason Pusser's Rum has been successful, some say,[who?] is because it has some characteristics in common with a scotch whisky, despite it being distilled from molasses. This may have been a result of the British Navy developing a scotchlike rum to meet the tastes of enlisted men at the time.

In the decades leading up to "The Black Day", it became common for Royal Navy Sailors to give a portion of their rum ration to a shipmate on their birthday, or for a favour. The donor would indicate how much he was allowing the other to take with one of the following phrases:

"Sippers" - Take a Sip.
"Gulpers" - Take a Gulp.
"Sandy Bottoms" - Drink it all.
It's all just PUD to me ;)

I love MBV's 555! I've already gone through maybe 400 ml of it, and have 2x 236 ml bottles at present, one in my desk and one in the freezer.

I make my own RY4 with it (150 drops MBV 555, 40 drops MBV Caramel Candy, 30 drops MBV Madagascar Vanilla), and I can't put it down. (In comparison, I just thew out a 15 ml bottle of MBV's own RY4, which tasted like bread mold with throat hit to me. God-awful! MBV's other tobaccos are similarly wretched to my palate: Ankara Tobacco is barely vapable, Rose Tobacco tastes like citronella candles and I also threw it out).

But MBV 555... total win!

I also mix it with Red Apple, Red Apple & Pear, Madagascar Vanilla, and Madagascar Vanilla & various MBV chocolates.

the white ones aren't v3s, i bought them thinking they were. i use them for tobaccos.

i like the itaste v3 because it is the cheapest vv/vw you can buy in the states. they're small, they don't roll, unless you have a giant tank on them. bought them for 33-34 bucks a piece.

they have ohm meters, variable wattage (6-11w), variable voltage (3-5v) and puff counters. they are faux pass-throughs. i can use them when charging, but you are using the battery, not the ac.

not the strongest battery, but bang for buck, i love them. i get 400 to 460 puffs on the ptank 2 and davides, moe on minis and evods. so the 800mah bothers me not!

AND, if you have the battery charger, i just found a place that has them in stock for...$25.95! that is a bloody steal, that is!

Joye eGo Rechargeable Batteries

i have 4 charging cords, so maybe 1 more battery. that is the same place that has hyper tanks for $11.95. (so maybe, 1 tank and 1 battery! :p)
