65/35, 0 shots. It could maybe take an extra shot at that ratio and still fall within my happy joy range, but it's definitely one of those juices that I feel could be easily ruined with too much flavor. Mine is nice and mellow, but there's still plenty of citrus flavor there. I may end up putting my trust in the MBV juice crew and go with the default 80/20 house blend for my Big Bottle.
I think this is my downfall. Becuz my taste buds are absolute crap, I tend to always order "extra shots". But on several flavors, I have ended up w/ "perfume". And I don't know how to "pre-determine" whether to order extra shots or not.
I have a friend who has gotten several extra shots with some juice purchases, and I can't vape it at all. For me personally, which is probably different for many others, one shot is the most my palette can handle. However, it seems that one shot is okay for going up a bottle size especially if I am lowering the nic level. So if I started with a 15ml bottle at 12mg and I want to order 30ml at 6mg, I can order one extra shot and still have good flavor. The only way to really know is to order the shot(s) and give it a try. If I feel that I'm getting good flavor from the start, then I don't see the point of adding shots. From what I've experienced, I haven't been able to come up with a general rule of thumb for the flavors that go to perfume with too many shots...I've tried "single flavor" juices and the more complex ones that I didn't care for with extra shots. Some of the juices that I've tried with too many shots (for me) are Ginger Ale, Marshmallow, and Sweet Cherry Bomb (there are others, but I can't remember all of her purchases). She happens to like 2 or 3 flavor shots, but I don't. I would recommend starting with just one shot and then add a shot to the next one if you feel you need more flavor.
sometimes, as a pallet cleanser - and dripper cleaner, I vape 100% unflavored, UN-nicotined VG
and I find just the opposite. No nic is great for me with no extra shots at all - but when the juice has nicotine in it, I find the flavor is cut a little bit and at 12mg, in a juice or two, an extra shot doesn't hurt. I can't fathom what 4 xextra shots in anything would be like. *twitches*
I tried one with 3 extra shots, and for me, it was totally unvapable. I didn't even want to consider what 4 might be like either.
I don't want to change the ratios on their recipes. I would rather order some standard flavors from the DIY section, and adjust to my taste later. That is why we put sugar, salt and pepper on the table, right?
Re the unvapable.. get yerself a big ole bottle of VG (or PG) and start diluting til you're happy with it.
I love Mount Baker. My new favoriteis Hawk Sauce, it's a sweet and sour berry. I just reordered 50ml bottle. In February I ordered a bottle of Creamy Berry and really liked it but it had been put aside when new flavors came in and I kinda forgot about it. Well... I just filled up a tank and it is wonderful with over a month of sitting. The cream really came out and the berry is sweeter. I have to buy another bottle to let sit. If you have patience this is a really great vape. I like all of their flavors and bought some flavorings for DIY. I mixed up some Thug juice and its great after only 2 days
It's funny about the flavor shots and again, how taste is subjective. I have Vanilla Ice is 12 mg and 6 mg with 1 flavor shot in each and it's perfect. But Moo juice and Salt Water Taffy I ordered with 3 shots and I can't imagine either with less. So, what this telling me about myself is that if it's not a minty juice, I need a LOT of flavor. Interesting. Maybe a little weird. But interesting.

I have to say I'm really impressed with the delivery time and the there prices. I'm really liking my choices but next time I think i will only go 1 extra shot max.....I mean wow talk about strong. Juices I have ordered before from other vendors just have a slight taste. Overall i'm still glad with my order, but truth be told I've had better blueberry juices. I can't choose which one I like more but cookie blaster and chocolate frost stand out. Looking forward to trying ecto cooler but i need a carto or something that won't crack, it was on my order sheet not to use it on plastic mood tanks.

Also ordered Peach, and their new one Cider Fire. going to let Cider Fire steep a bit as its heavy on the cinnamon right now. Peach is good, needs to steep a bit though. My freebie was White Tea....OMG!!!! It's in Beta right now, and going up on the site next week. I will be ordering a 30ml of it as soon as it goes live! I don't know if I can wait to let it steep.

White tea sounds delicious, I'm so happy MBV is doing teas, I get mine from AiV and Ahlusion but will totally switch
