Okay, I'll just ask and you guys can giggle at me LOL - what does "let it steep" mean - do you heat it up or what?

I've been looking at Mt. Baker, I'm a little nervous ordering juice online just because I can be a picky broad. I seem to really like strong sweet flavors and I see they'll add up to 5 extra "shots" - are the juices pretty mild/bland otherwise? It doesn't really explain the point of the shots on their site that I've been able to find (or maybe I'm too enamored of all the flavors!)
For steeping methods, please look at this post. Adding shots of flavoring is a personal preference. I would suggest trying the juices first without adding shots, and then add them one at a time if you feel the juice doesn't have as much flavor as you'd like. Adding too many shots can ruin the juice, IMO. I personally don't add more than 2 to any juice, but others add up to 4. It's a matter of taste.

Edited To Add: Steeping in general means to let the flavors bloom and blend together. Since MBV makes their juice when you order it, the juice might not be ready to vape out of the mailbox.:)

Steeping just means to let it sit for a few days or weeks to let the flavors kind of mesh together and settle a bit. Some do it with the cap off closed in a closet for a while and some do it with the bottles closed. I couldn't imagine 5 flavor shots, that would be one seriously rich vape that would certainly not be for the faint of heart.

Ah, so maybe I should order when it's hotter than heck, should steep itself in the Texas heat on it's way here. *laughing*

Thanks for the explanations, guys... seriously, best. forum. ever.
I couldn't wait that long, but if you really want to hold out......:)
You're welcome.

I enjoy the steeping process. After the first couple days with cap and dropper off I still shake daily. I remove the caps and smell. It's really like wine. They get better with age :)
You won't believe the difference. Some seem horrible. But then after they steep they are delicious!

So, coming up on hour 28 of running pure Salted Caramel on a brand new Nova head(again, 1.8Ω @ ~3.4v) and no problems.
Coil hasn't broken and it's still vaping nicely. Color is darkening a bit, but that doesn't surprise me.
The Nova head that went out on me before with this flavor was used, so that might have been a factor, though I cannot fathom why it destroyed a brand new eGo-C head within a day before(can't test at the moment because I don't have any more eGo-C heads)

Maybe you could try Pie Crust and Bananas Gone Nuts, then try them mixed together for Banana Pie?
Don't forget to add a bit of Whipped Cream ;)

Hot chocolate
Hopefully this goes well for you cuz I have had nothing but bad luck with chocolate flavors, even from different vendors
Every time, it's good for about a week, starts to lose flavor, then starts tasting horrible, as if the flavoring went bad or something
One bottle from the local B&M, WhiteChocolate and CookieBlaster from MBV, and some other places, all of it has ended up the same :(

I just read that too (about the EVOD coil heads in the Protank) and just placed an order for some tonight (somehow I have 3 or 4 EVOD's but no replacement heads??) And thank you for the tip about the EVOD - I am using a PV with a button near the top. Actually, I'm going to totally embarrass myself here - I didn't even notice the air holes until you posted that and I went and looked! I'm going to try that tomorrow and see how I like it. But to embarrass myself further, I do not see the air holes on the protank. And oddly, I went to replace the head in my T3 tonight and it wouldn't screw onto my battery - the pin on the bottom seems to be sticking out more than the other replacement heads I have. Not sure how to fix that...?

I don't see the airholes in the Protank either!!!

From personal experience, adding any flavor shots to their juice, before trying it as-is, is a mistake. I made the mistake of adding three shots to Peach and it is so strong that it would blow my head off if I tried to vape it alone. I use a few 'drops' of it in other things while I'm waiting on a bottle of 80pg/20vg no nic, no flavor mix to get here so I can mellow it out. I really learned my lesson! LOL

All of the flavors I've tried are absolutely yummy with NO flavor shots. My mistake was ordering juices I hadn't tried yet, on my third order, with 2 or 3 extra shots and all of them are just too strongly flavored. And I like strong flavors too.

So, I definitely recommend you order a few 15ml, smell them when you get them, let them sit at least two days, smell again, try if something smells good, then maybe let sit from 2 days to 2 weeks to get the flavor you want. You can test all along the way to see if it has 'steeped' enough to give you the flavor that makes you happy.

Happy Adventuring!

P.S. They give 15ml samples for orders over a certain amount. I don't know what that is though. However, you can denote in the comment box, on the order page, what mix of pg/vg and level of nic you want your sample to be. You can also ask for a specific flavor or ask them to surprise you.

Butterscotch is my absolute favorite!!! Rocketpunk got me to try it cause his YouTube video. I bought a 30ml then a 50ml did that 5 times them they started offering the huge bottles and have bought 2 of those. :)

I've recently been watching some MBV videos on YouTube...was his the one where he shows all the empty bottles? I was dying for the butterscotch after watching that one!!

I don't see the airholes in the Protank either!!!

LOL, I told Stone I'd have to try again tomorrow....in the daylight....with my glasses on....

I should really go to bed but I do not like putting my Vanilla Ice down....once I test out the pg vs. vg thing, I think it's time to get the really big bottle.... :)

Re airy draws on things. I don't have the other gizmos but on the T-3s there are several easy methods to plug a hole or two to make a warmer less airy draw.. rub an unscented candle over a hole.. test.. if it's still too airy.. do another hole. There is the toothpick method and what I do.. I found a kids sticker kit at the dollar store.. puffy shiny little squares supposed to make mosaic pictures. I cover two holes with them (thought I was going to use the colors for identification but can't remember what colors went on what) bonus.. because they're puffy stickers, I can lay my volt down without fear of it rolling off anything.

Candy :) I'm all about the sweet also. Mt baker has bottles of sweetener - all by themselves so you can add a drop to things, and really.. one drop is darn potent.

I have to agree with the others, getting flavors as is - works for me. I think the exception seems to be if you are way up on the nicotine scale. At 12mg, that's where I notice that a little more flavor might not hurt but many of my vapes are no nicotine (I just like vaping that much) and extra shots might wreck what otherwise would be a perfect vape.

Welcome to the thread! I just have to say.. gotta love another female that refers to herself as a broad.. made me smile

And because I said to Terre a while back.. my juice collection rivals hers...

so if you think you've gone overboard... consider this pic is without my 236 bottles of whipped cream, VG and a good size bottle of 36mg nicotine - unflavored.. my gear goes in another box (or two)
