fast tech...$72, anytime you want.

and what is "the co-op" i keep reading about?

my 2 Aspire Vivi Nova-S BDC Glassomizer are out for delivery! :)

now, if those freeking groundskeepers would just get the heck away from my door! i mean really, 30 minutes! :-x
leaf blowers are driving me nuts!

It's where someone wants to place an order typically with fast tech to get a well quantity discount for items. They put up a list of what the vendor has and what people want to purchase, the vendor sets a minimum quantity order for the times and the members pick what they want to purchase and how many of each item they want to get, when the Co-op is full by meeting either the $ amount or quantity limit everyone makes their payment and the order is placed and then the waiting begins for delivery of the times, which are set to the person that created the Co-op and once received they sent the items order for each member.

I hear that. But from one working class scruff to another, Dusty, this is what *I* would do... your job is seasonal right now anyway, and unless/until you get the knowledge that it's permanent, and/or another position, Christmas pickings are going to be mighty slim. By the time it rolls around, you're going to be panicking a little, wondering exactly how many checks you have left, and you'll be in no mood to buy gifts of any kind, let alone for yourself, because OH MY GOD what about money?!

So if you have the money for the co-op deal, and it wouldn't screw you over to jump on it.... jump on it. Then consider that your "big" gift for the holidays, even if it comes late. Your holiday shopping for yourself is now complete - you know you have something coming, and it's something you want - and if anyone asks what you want for the holidays, you can truthfully and without resentment say, "I know it's gauche, but what I need most is some cash to make sure my bills are covered."

If everything works out and you end up getting a permanent position/better job, it's all gravy. If not... you got what you really wanted, without breaking the bank, and can fake some "good cheer" for the people who aren't quietly freaking out about keeping the lights on.

Can you tell I've been in this position more than once? :D As I said, though, that's just the way I would handle it.

lol, yes I can tell. Well the fact is, the VTR is a matter of want not need, so the logical thing for me to do at this point as I don't like not paying bills and not knowing where my next check is coming from. I will probably just go ahead and get the juices I need. Gotta run bbl.

Sorry I have not been posting much, between work and my damn issue I just haven't really felt up to doing much other then reading. I'm glad everyone came out of the storms ok!

Ok, now, I have a bit of a predicament, well nothing that is earth shattering that's for sure, it's a matter of want versus need. I have been wanting to get a VTR, I typically do not like box type mods just really like the look of the VTR, not common sense tells me that due to the fact that this position is one in which may not become permanent I should just get my juices and batteries and some more tanks, heads and DIY stuff, but I got this damn itch, kinda like I get when I want a new tattoo, which is also been itching, but that is an itch I can't scratch at this point, the tat I want to get next would be over $500.00 and I can't do that one myself, anyway, I just really want that damn VTR, I'm just having a hard time with justifying the $100 + price tag, there is a listing in the Co-op for $52.00 which I was told was the kit, if that's the case that is doable, but damn, I don't have a lot of patience when it comes to things like that!

Arrrrgggggg...... VTR, juice, Juice, VTR, etc, etc.... Why couldn't I hit the lottery, oh, that's right, I could actually use it, most that win don't need it!

To win the lottery, I'd have to play!! lol

That's exactly why considering it your Christmas gift to yourself works. Then again, I don't know what your holiday situation is like, so if you've got a big family/lots of friends to hang with over the holidays, the VTR isn't such a big deal. If you don't, though.... seriously consider that deal. I know it seems stupid and less-than-sensible to be buying yourself a gift for the holidays in mid-November when you don't know where your next check is coming from... but come the actual holidays, being broke goes from feeling stressful to feeling *grim*, and just knowing you have something you wanted - *not* needed, just wanted - coming to you can make the difference between getting through all that holiday "cheer" vs. wanting to punch someone (or worse) every time you go get groceries and have to deal with all the carols coming over the PA.

Not trying to push you in any one direction, cause you gotta do what you gotta do... but do make sure you've got a "getting through the holidays emotionally" plan, VTR or no.

Actually Co-Ops typically are orders placed directly and shipped from the vendor, as in from Kanger or Innokin as examples...

One thing to keep in mind regarding the VTR is you are limited to 19mm that will fit thru the hole or tube above the 510 connector, I use ProTanks with mine and really had no intention if using anything different. Second thing would be it is pretty hefty in the weight department.

Ok, clockin' out time, Tuesday is done :D

Ya, I opted for the MVP myself. VTR is easily $100-150 after batteries/chargers. And, as you said, it has tank restrictions (even tho it has an extender that thing would make it bigggggg)

I lusted after the VTR for a little while when I was first looking for a beefy mod, but eventually I decided I didn't like the tank restrictions and I didn't want to deal with naked lithium ions at all if I didn't have to. Did enough of that back when li-ion was the standard for power chairs, and I still get called on to fix/troubleshoot/etc those fairly regularly... just would rather not have to stress about them on a day to day basis. I prefer the slight peace of mind that comes with using a protected, regulated, sealed model. So I started looking at the MVP2 and the vv3... and I preferred the massive battery life of the MVP2, but I *hated* the look - it's industrial in a bad way to me. Went looking for wraps just on a whim, not expecting to find anything I liked... TARDIS wrap. Wait a minute, *that* would be cool...

Still didn't expect to get one, but that one tiny ridiculous factor was what tipped me over the edge on the MVP2... a vinyl sticker.

Having said that, I get comments of the good variety every time I take it out. "What is that?" "It's an e-cig/PV." "You can get a *TARDIS* e-cig? Where?! I'd quit smoking if I could use *that*!"

You can get a sonic screwdriver wrap for the vv3, but it's Eleven's screwdriver, which automatically made it a no go for me.

I suspect I've made myself sound both superficial (stickers!) and petty(I hate Moffat so much that I irrationally hate Matt Smith too!), all in one post, but there it is. :)
