I'm about to start my prep. I've got to run out to pick up a couple things first, though. Like Sage. Every year I have a hard time finding Sage. But WHY!? What is Thanksgiving without Sage and why do grocery stores NOT stock up on it?! So frustrating!

Quite a few years ago and one Thanksgiving too many of running around trying to find fresh sage on the Wednesday, I decided to start growing sage and rosemary in my front yard. Nowadays, we have a full garden... but that's how we started. I just came back from clipping more out of the garden to do some stuffed mushrooms with.

We almost never have visitors, but today the doorbell has been ringing nonstop... "Do you have any herbs in your garden?" "The sage is right over there, rosemary is the bush by the sidewalk, here's some scissors." "Oh, great, I can borrow some?" "Nah, you can have some, I don't want it back after you're through with it!"

If you don't have a yard, most herbs (including sage and rosemary) do fine in pots on the windowsill. Just don't overwater them and make sure they can drain very well - a thin layer of rocks in the bottom of the pot before you add the soil usually does the trick.

Won't help you for this year, but keep it in mind for next! :)

and some allspice berries. But I did my brine last night, so the bird's got ahold of it now. :)

Ya, that too - though I didn't have the berries on hand, so just used ground (same with the Sage, unfortunately)

Mines been bathing in the cooler since about 10am.

I absolutely MUST have the fresh sage for my apple cider gravy, and the brown butter sauce for my sweet potato gnocchi

So, which of us is going to be man enough to admit that we're all just ripping off Alton Brown's amazing brine recipe? ;) I've tried others, including throwing some together on my own, but on Thanksgiving, I always come back to his. Why mess with perfection?

I'm still considering whether I want White Ice for my free sample on my Black Friday order. Menthols aren't usually my thing, but that one has me intrigued.

All this Provari talk has me itching to show off the new device that is in the mail and should be in my hands this Friday or Saturday.

Wife and I have been using Buzz Pros' for the past 18 months. Figured after this amount of time I deserved a reward. I was looking at the Provari and strongly considering it but then I saw this beautiful piece of machined art. I just had to have it.

Roonies, that was me and you have my apologies... I was making a Top Gear joke, not bashing Provaris. Jeremy Clarkson is the host of Top Gear (car show) and he likes to - all in fun - grump about cheap cars with no power and how horrible and useless they are and everyone should buy a 200,000 supercar, preferably something German or Italian because Americans don't know how to build cars... in other words, it's satire.

Jeremy Clarkson is also a known chainsmoker, so I was saying if anyone ever got him to vape, he would vape the Provari because he could adopt the same satirical attitude that Provari is the only possible device to vape with, and easily fit in with a certain sect of the Provari crowd (the ones that recommend Provaris to those looking for an Ego).

Much like I'd love to own a Mercedes, I certainly wouldn't turn down a Provari.

And I shouldn't have made that joke, cause it needs a lot of context to make sense... but Top Gear and Provari had been brought up at the same time, so it made sense in my head.

Jeremy would get a GG. The Provari is proudly made in the USA.

Thus why I said in my original post that they'd have to re-badge it, so to speak, but I think you're right, he probably would go with the GG.

I've been using Alton's recipe for Thanksgiving and Christmas since it aired, too - as do my chef uncles (who fight every year over who can make the best turkey... despite using the same recipe... good thing dad's got a big family, since they have to figure out how to put away three turkeys!)

Met Alton at a book signing once. Great guy, and even funnier in person than he is on TV.

Nice! I just opened a green Evod I got from MBV about a week ago. Short post, Evod coil :)
I expected the long Protank coil. That's what a red Evod (MBV) from a month ago had.
If any of y'all got an Evod from MBV lately which post did you get with it?

Vaping some DIY MBV Strawberry Kiwi 18mg 70/30 12.5% :p

I got Evods from MBV back in July and they were all short posts. Red, blue, purple, yellow, green, and pink. How come they don't have Kanger etching on them? I later bought a brushed stainless one from a local shop and was surprised to see the Kanger etching.

Also... Protank of Spurburry got low and topped off with Guava. Yum!

So, while I'm glad for all of you that like your Cinnamon flavors straight up, I'm super-miffed that they haven't been added back as MYO options. My two go-to vapes are custom blends with MBV's Cinnamon Roll flavoring. Both of which I was hoping to order on Friday.

... now I have to decide if I can really rationalize a new flavor or two if I'm not stocking up on what I'm going to use most often.
