T3 & all others I've tried are too much work. I went back to the old cigalike carto & am totally happy with the . They don't leak, don't have to clean them, don't have to rebuild them, they are cheap, they give acceptable flavor, & I've got about 300 of them.

i used t3's for a long time and they were ok, but after awhile i got tired of the gurgling and leaking. so now i am gradually switching over to all mini protank2's. i really love them. pretty much maintenance and fiddle free.

plus, its not about the gifts, its about the history !!! In my house, we are trying to teach the kids charity by having 2 of the 8 nights as "pay it forward" nights. We either volunteer at a local charity or give gifts or donations to local charities instead of gifts to the kids. It was a tough sell when they were really young, but at 7 and 11, they are startig to get it.

(ok, its about the gifts as well!...I didnt get any gifts, was a giver this year, gave the wife a samsung galaxy tab 3...that gives me a lot of good will to get myself some nice things !!!!!)

So, any one have a preferred quick-steep method? My mother just bought a crap load of mbv flavors, but she is not liking the waiting game. I've heard the warm water method...... Anything else? Ultrasonic? how does that work?

i put mine in the UC for about an hour with the tops (and tips) removed. makes the house smell really good, and hastens the steeping process. i have a heated one too, so it helps.
