Sean-

go to Mt. Joseph Family Foods- Home Page and click on buy smoked meats. i promise you, if you like these kinds of meats/cheeses you wont be disappointed. We put real time and effort into our stuff and its not made by machines like most big companies. Let me know what you think if you do decide to try it. or anyone else for that matter.

Excellent, thanks! Not sure if I'll be able to squeeze it into the budget this month, but I'll definitely be placing an order ASAP.

Seanchai,
Hi buddy. I just wanted to suggest that while you are waiting for Sticky Bun, if you have them, you can mix Cinnamon Roll and Butterscotch. I'm pretty sure I read that Sticky Bun is equal parts of both. I hate it when one of my faves is OOS! I like it too and hope it's back in stock soon!!

I grow a very productive garden every year & have for many years. I use total organic methods although I'm not against chemical gardens either. About one third of our yearly groceries come from that garden. One of the main reasons I grow all that stuff............Beef stew.:)

Yup, us too. Also organic. We get probably close to half our groceries from the garden. I couldn't possibly pick one dish I do with all of it over any other though... although champ and okra are both oft seen on our table. Never had okra till we came to the Deep South, but I appear to be one of those relatively rare former Yankees who can't get enough of the stuff. Fried, pickled, in a salad, roasted, gumbo... never met an okra dish I didn't like.

Hi Roonies! It's Cinnamon Roll and Caramel Candy, and unfortunately I have neither at the moment! I'll be rectifying that next week, at which point I'll have more Sticky Bun and ways to make Sticky Bun than I know what to do with, which is of course the whole idea. :D But Pumpkin Spice + Butterscotch is tiding me over in the meantime. Thanks for the suggestion though... a few more months to round out my collection and I'll be able to mix pretty much anything I need. :) Congratulations again on the new grandbaby - that's a great pic!

im not from the south, but when i lived in oklahoma, i tried okra and loved it! i cant find it around here though. :/

You might be able to grow some, if you're so inclined. Okra's pretty low-maintenance and doesn't tend to be fussy. It just likes heat and rain. Our plants - from seed - were about 7 ft tall within 6 weeks and produced like mad from early spring all the way until the weather dropped below 40F and stayed there for a week.

so how do i get the huge bottles of juice? do i get it from mbv or mbvwholesale?

Depends how huge you want'em. mbv has 236ml bottles (the actual bottles themselves are temporarily OOS right now thanks to Black Friday and the move, which is why they're not showing up - give 'em another week or so, they'll come back), anything larger, wholesale (which has them in 473ml and up).

Gnite Kelli, how is everyone else this eve? Good t,o see you again roonies, what a beautiful grandgirl you have there. I am a real baby fan, I was the guy that held the reigns with the kids when they were little, little as wifey is not a fan of really little people. Just retried my mudslide again, it's kinda odd, really weird chocolate flavour to it. Anyway I hope to be able to stay caught up since no workin this weekend, yayaya.
