Actually 80/20 normally means that there is 80% PG and 20% VG which makes the liquid thinner, 65/35 is thicker as there is more VG. VG is the thicker agent and also a bit sweeter, however it tends to also mute the favors but gives off more vapor, PG carries flavor more and throat hit but less vapor.

So essentially the higher the VG you may want more flavor shots, but it's best to try the juice with the stock mix and then you can choose if it needs more flavor shots or not. Personally I like both 50/50 and 65/35 and always get 2 and 3 flavor shots respectively.

Think I got it backwards then, cause he was definitely not loving the thickness. All good though. I'm still green so I guess I should be trying everything anyway.

You answered all my questions just as they started popping up. My boyfriend has (or will soon have...it's on the slowboat from China, the tradeoff being he paid like $20 for it) the vamo 5. The MVP seems to offer a lot of the same features, maybe even more, than that Vamo setup except that the batteries are not user replaceable.

In looking at it, I felt a little weird about the box thing but several times now I've gone to your link and each time I like it a bit more. I'm still learning the vape jargon and tech jargon as well but that "high compatibility 510 connector" means you can stick just about anything on there that's 510 threaded, yeah?

You can use anything that's 510 or Ego threaded. 510 threading is the "inner" threads, and tanks/toppers that are "Ego threaded" have 510 threading plus an outer threading that allows them to sit right on top of the battery. The only thing I have found is that the MVP threading is quite deeply set, and tank manufacture being what it is (i.e. inconsistent and Chinese), occasionally you'll run into an individual tank that's a little too short to connect... i.e. two of my smoktech aro tanks will connect fine, one won't (the center connector pin on the tank itself is about a micrometer too short). Rather than mess with the problem tank, I picked up a "510-to-Ego" adapter (about $3), which I leave screwed into the MVP's native threads all the time. That does three things - I have yet to find a tank that won't connect with the adapter on, leaving the adapter on means all the wear and tear on my threads happens on the $3 adapter and not the MVP itself, and with the adapter on, I don't have to mess with taking the beauty ring off every time I want to use anything Ego threaded.

I also like the fact that it's 2600 mAh cause, at that price, I can probably only get one at a time so I would need it to last long enough through the day that I can charge overnight. Of course my 900mAh twist hasn't required charging yet and it's been over 24 hours but it's good to know it's there.

That's what swung me toward the MVP 2.0 instead of the itaste vv3... functionally, they're very similar, but the vv3 is a stick battery, so it's lighter and more portable. But I tend to chain vape, and I knew I could only get one to start, so I went for the one with the massive battery life. I don't regret it, though I still will pick up a vv3 at some point. :)

Yeah, so, it's growing on me. Thanks for that, Sean, last night I only had eyes for my little beginner's eGo twist/PTII Mini setup and, today, I'm struggling with a cheating heart :)

Welcome to vaping. As far as the fact that the MVP has the beauty of the basement of a 1970s industrial warehouse, yeah, but, with apologies to Apple, "there's a wrap for that." Here's one place that does wraps, and here is another. Yes, it's basically a vinyl sticker (like a phone skin), but you wouldn't believe the difference it makes in terms of making the MVP look pretty cool. My MVP now looks like a TARDIS (from Doctor Who), and I'll probably wrap my backup in a wood grain wrap or something like that.

Either you have an excellent memory, or, you keep excellent notes !!! I have summertimers, and I couldn't remember stuff like that to save my mvp View attachment 283818

It's a little of both. :) When I was in school, I couldn't write fast enough to keep up with notes in class, and I could just barely, on a good day, type fast enough, so I unintentionally developed the ability to keep about a page worth of a verbal lecture in my head until I could get it down on the paper.... always working with that little "buffer" in my head. But in the case of my flavor matching/"best _____ flavor" search, I did keep some minimal notes (very like the ones I used to take for school, i.e. so condensed as to look completely esoteric to anyone else, but comprehensible as complete paragraphs to me). :D

What blend do you all prefer? Busardo said the 80/20 was a little thick so I took it a step down and got the 65/35.

For me, the blend I use depends on the flavor. I get most of my juices in 50/50 and some in 65/35.

Also, I think I missed saying this cause I was doing six things at once at the time, but congratulations Joie!

Oh, and Dusty, re: your anti-steeping stalker - more MBV for us, man. Can't educate those who don't want to be enlightened, and those same types also tend to be the ones with no manners.

Well, crap, his another darn MBV juice I need to add to my always want to have list, I saw everyone talking about the Rainbow Sherbet and figured when I was able to get my flavorings that I would ask for a sample of this one, BIG MISTAKE, damn, it's addictive! I've already gone through 1/2 the bottle. :vapor:

Heads up people. I just mixed up some using their flavoring and it dissolved the ink off the syringe. It's almost certainly gonna kill an Evod or other polycarbonate plastic tanks.

Maybe never, I dunno. Like I said, the concentrated flavor had a dissolving effect on the measuring syringe, so it IS a solvent. It may take years for the diluted stuff to have any real effect on your tank, or you may notice it starts getting leaky after another week? The syringe didn't melt, so I don't want to cause you alarm, just share the information I have.

If it makes you feel better about being reckless, I'm going to vape this juice even though I see a few decimal points and measuring lines floating around in it, so you're in fine company! :p

I took the ink of a syringe just with my fingers when rinsing it out with water. No numbers left on it now. I can however see that a flavoring would do that as it is much more concentrated.

Just went to try the menthol I Recieved in 70/30 vg/dw and it's like sludge. It looks like the flavoring hardened up around the tip and chucks are coming out followed by what would be a normal viscosity liquid. I managed to fill an evod and holy menthol. It's not bad just very strong. I got it with 2 extra shots.

I hope this isn't normal for their menthol. I'll try contacting them tomorrow. Anyone experience similar?

Never experienced anything like that, so contacting them sounds like a good plan. Their menthols are generally rather strong, but the ones I've tried have all mellowed given enough steep time.
