My taste buds have been all over the place since I quit smoking. Several juices have tasted different every single time I tried them so I know I am not a good judge of flavor yet. I went through several days of not being able to taste anything but menthol and that wasn't very strongly. Another day everything was suddenly so sweet I could hardly stand it. I got a T-Raz tester from Mt Baker and one day it tasted like raspberry tobacco with a hint of cherry and then the day after it was clearly a tea flavor. I've gone ahead and gotten some extra shots knowing that there is every chance they will be too strong later and have to be toned down.

I'm near the bottom of my forth or fifth tank of Whiteout on one of my AGA-T2s and trying to figure out what I might put in instead so I dug into the back of my steeping shelf and pulled out a bottle of vintage 3-30-2013 "Hawk Sauce" 18mg, 50/50, 4 extra shots. This is a juice I *want* to like, I want to like it a lot! Just like the Thug Juice I find it a bit subtle in the flavor department, at least to my taste buds... Anyway it's been steeping for almost four weeks now and I thought I'd give it another shot so I dripped some into my IGO-L before resigning to a full tankful...

It's STILL pretty mild in the flavor department but I'm getting a bit more of that "sour" flavor now that others have mentioned. I also notice a hint of spearmint, especially when I exhale out of my nose! I don't remember that being there when this bottle was new! Hmmm...

Yeah, I know! Right?!? I usually like more flavor shots because I know that a higher VG ratio tends to mute flavors some but my real hang up is fruit flavors. It's not MBV's juice in particular either... it's all the vendors I've tried. "Fruit" flavors typically taste much more subtle to my poor, abused tongue. Caramel Apple is the one exception to this... The apple character of it always comes through, even when I cut it further with more VG for SLR vaping. Wish I could just find one really good "fruit punch" flavor that did it for me.

Have you tried MBVs Fruit Punch? Just saw it scrolling through the pages but I don't know how long its been up there. I've personally never tried it but I think I'm leaning more towards the fruit/sweet flavors myself. Vaping the hell out of some Juicy Fruit right now and once I get a decent tank that won't crack, I'll be puffing on the Pineapple Peach as well as the Ecto Cooler.

... a bottle of vintage 3-30-2013 "Hawk Sauce"

My Vanilla Butternut is approaching the 3-week mark, which is a world record for a juice that I like so much. I've had my DIY vanilla and MBV's Madagascar in rotation so I've been neglecting it. Gave it some Protank love just a few moments ago (trying not to consume all my PUC inside of a week) and WOW I love this juice. I'm convinced this is the same flavoring used in butter pecan ice cream, and the cool vape from the Protank makes it just perfect.

A few posts back someone had questioned whether Mtbaker had stopped giving out free samples. I ordered mine on Thursday and it arrived today (mailed to my office, so it sat in the post office over the weekend). I had a $50 order of 2 packs of cartos and 7 juices and had requested a bakery type flavor for my sample. I received Blue Moo and I am really excited. So it looks like that person may have been the victim of a slight oversight.

I LOVE Vanilla Butternut! Not too fond of Madagascar though, I get a Black Licorice taste for some reason and I hate Black Licorice!!!

I made a mixture using MBV liquid. I took 60 drops of flavor A. 20 drops of flavor B. 10 drops of flavor C. I'd like to order a 236 ML bottle under their custom order. I'm allowed to use 96 "parts." Anyone with an idea of the math? I'm bashing my head against the wall trying to visualize this. Thanks

A few pages back someone mentioned how much flavor they add when you add an "extra flavor shot". You could somehow use that to try and make a better guess as to how much of each flavor you would need. I'm not sure what measurement they use as far as "parts" goes though :screwy:

I actually used some chemistry and used moles to determine the percentage of each flavor in the mixture. It's rough but it'll work.

I would try 63 parts A, 22 parts B, and 11 Parts C.
