Feel better Sean!!! Hugs to ya!

Dusty, sherbert is in Florida!!!!!!! :vapor:

Thank you very much, I'll be heading over to the apartment shortly.

Sean, feel better, stay out of the nasty weather and take care of yourself! I don't want to hear that you had to go to the hospital, well, unless you have a nurse you wish to visit! :p

unions only do what you make them do! i went to work for my union 20 years ago. i was just dude w/attitude. w/in a year, i was force to be reckoned with. i had the NLRB eating out of my hands, i doubled pension contributions in my first round of negotiations and kept deductions for health care costs at a minimum. my last round of negs i won back for employees all the the union had screwed them out of in 20 years and got them stuff they never had! every single person that worked at the union before me was gone by the time i left, the Pres, Sec Tres on charges that i brought against them. the IU came in and got rid of me, but i had a trojan horse. my buddy, Eric, whom i brought there. he now runs it and they are organizing and helped pass the $15 minimum wage for Seatac.

life is short, but even 1 person can make a difference. don't let your union not represent you! it's what they want.

I agree, but 99% of his coworkers are wimps when it comes to demanding their benefits, and the last time they were on strike, it lasted 4 months and in the end, all for NOTHING because they signed the original contract they went on strike for!!!!! And then all the STL auto dealers separated into individual unions (instead of one big area union) and now it depends on who they work for to get anything good. So the guys no longer have the "numbers" to back them up. My hubby knows the union rule book like the back of his hand, and he is ALWAYS correcting the manager on crap he trys to pull. As of today, they have NOT signed a new contract, old one expired Oct 30, and the owner wont even talk to the reps!!
I just get so aggravated because when i was a kid, my dad was all union, dont cross lines, etc., and they usually got good results when they had to sign a new contract, it is not like that anymore, at least not in ours.
Sorry for the long post, i am done venting now!

Back on topic- almost taste my Van Cupcake now!!! :vapor:

Now....any opinions on Spurberry flavor? Don't think I've seen it mentioned in the last 70 pages....
